The way I see it, the Yasuo community has 2 options right now: Discuss or become next Urgot
Look people: The fact that Yasuo is balanced doesn't matter. What matters is, hes unfun.
Its a high mobility, low risk, ressourceless champion, that forgives almost every mistake made with broken mobility in lane, and offers little opportunity to counterplay him, while being supremely powerful without doing much.
Its a disgusting design concept that needs to get changed to something that allows for actual interaction. His mobility, his shield, or his free damage...one of the three has to be hit, and hit the way it hurts. If it was me making the decision, I would gut his mobility. Yasuo should be required to actually care about positioning in the lane, like every other fighter, and not have a zero-cooldown cheatbutton.
Yes, hes balanced, but hes simply frustrating. And Riot acknowledges this, which is why they are preparing to nerf him in 7.1 or 7.2.
This would be the perfect time for Yauso players to engage in a meaningful discussion about what can be done to bring this broken concept back in line with the games design. In doing so, they would ensure that Riot has things to work from, other than "Gut him down!".
But are they doing that? No. They don't even acknowledge the problem, instead pretending that everything is fine, because well...everyone who defends this guy, well, no hard feelings bud, but I can't shake the feeling that you are doing so for no other reason than enjoying having an advantage that you know shouldn't be in the game.
I am prepared for the downvotes by Yasuo "mains", but don't think I care much guys...the nerfs are announced and coming,a nd we even have a rough timeframe, and you get a choice here...either engage with the community in a discussion, giving Riot a way to actually make him not only balanced but fun to play for both sides...
...or continue with how you do things now, which is, deny there is a problem in the first place and downvote/ridicule everyone who says otherwise, and like as not, Riot will not merely nerf Yasuo, but actually GUT him, like they did with a lot of other champions in panicked design changes.
