I smite bard support all the time

Just gonna point out the case with the smite singed support from awhile ago.

That guy's problem was that he had one plan and essentially screwed his team over by taking his junglers camps or counter jungling while his lane partner was getting shoved in under tower and unable to farm.

He set his own team back quite a bit and the numerous reports against him from his allies are testament to how frustrating he was to play with.

To bring this back to you with smite bard. I'm down with off meta picks. I've played with bloody shaco support more times then any man should, but you need to help the team in some way. For bard specifically, as long as you leave healing pads near my tower, don't steal camps from our own jungle, and come to lane when I need you, then go nuts for all I care. Just buy sight stone so we have vision.

This is why we have one of the worst playerbases as well but meh

Does anyone remember the beginning of Season 5 when the Jungle items changes happened and supports actually took smite to try out the smite upgrade, and not just dick around as a second Jungler?

I think Smite make a lot more sense on Nunu (and with the Nunu issue) since his Consume already gives you a second smite, so when Nunu takes smite, it's acting as a third.

A word of salt for the boards: Granted, most players don't know Nunu's abilities, what Consume does, and how it should be used re: objective control, but it should be strongly considered. Again, assuming your team is completely clueless about the champs in this game.
