I just hate that Yasuo can ult off any "Knockup" in the game.

I understand things like Blitz, Ali and Malph.

But seriously, Diana makes me go about 5 pixels in the air and then suddenly I'm suspended in the air too the extent of an Alistar pulverize.

Thematically this makes absof*ckinglutely (Made up words are fun) no sense. If Yasuo can somehow continuously knock me up higher than I've already been knocked up, what's the point of him even requiring a knockup for his ultimate?

Look at Gragas' ultimate. You're suspended probably a few pixels off of the ground and he can somehow ultimate off of this. I understand that reality shouldn't be brought into the balance of a league of legends video game. But let's at least make it SOMEWHAT thematical.

You don't see Ryze using that big ass scroll on his back which is proven in the lore to be some of the strongest spells in the game. Why? Because that would be broken as hell lol.

Edit - Since every Yasuo main seems to be not regarding what I'm actually trying to state, and posting random remarks about how he needs a team comp built around him or some other dumb statement, going to make this text bold and italic for you guys.

Im stating that its makes absolutely no sense that Yasuo is allowed to use his ultimate off of knockups that keep you suspended in the air for at least 1/10th and the height you go is very low next to none. Also that it makes thematially no sense that he can do this. If you need help, look up the word thematically please.

You don't know pain tell you get pulled by a blitz, ulted over a wall by tristana, and then ulted by the waiting yasuo.

There are many champions with ults with more CC or more damage. Malphite can ult ANYONE and Veigar can ult ANYONE. Yasuo's ult requires a knockup to use, which either requires teamwork or skill with your tornadoes.

Why did you randomly have to come to the defense of Yasuo, (Which everyone knows has an overloaded kit fyi.) and throw out obvious facts about two other champions abilities. Your argument made absolutely no sense and I'm kind of offended you even posted something of this stupid caliber on my thread.

Now let me try and get you to understand what I'm saying. THEMATICALLY.....It makes no sense, that Yasuo, can perform his ultimate......Off of a knockup that brings you into the air for maybe 1/10 of a second. If this is the case, then Yasuo should be able to ultimate Orianna whenever she casts her W (She does a little jump.) Kayle floats, why can't she be ulted without a knockup required?

Yasuo can't ult off of enemies that force themselves to be airborne (Darius's ult for example) for balance reasons. Of course if you wanted to we could always make it so Yasuo can ult off of enemies that do that.

Ok why do people insist on making stupid comments like this. You're stating things I already know, and this in itself lies with the problem of most people who come to the defense of Yasuo. All they see is "They're calling the champion I play broken some how, let me post something without any regard to what the OP said"

I understand....That he can't ultimate....champions that are permanently airborne.......I'm saying....That if he shouldn't be allowed to ultimate....Of of abilities that knock you up that don't even go as high as Kayle being airborne, and that it THEMATICALLY....Makes no sense...

It mainly irritates me because his tooltip specifically states "airborne" enemies, implying only knock-ups can initiate it, not other displacement skills.

It's like the concept of sky striding; if you can somehow apply upward force at the point of equilibrium, you'll "jump" in midair.

Think of it this way. Yasuo is using the power of the wind. Sadly wind is negated by the earth so as long as his opponents are touching the ground they gain strength to defy his technique. So even getting knocked a little off the ground means the air can rush beneath them and cut off their connection to the earth before gleefully lifting them up.

It more or less makes sense, my only thematic frustration is that nami's bubble doesn't count as a knockup.

I really think Yasuo should only ult off a real knockup. Not a knockback like Tristana's R, or a knock aside like Draven's E. Real knockups.
