@ Riot - It's time to change some of the caveats of True Damage...

At current, Chogath with item 3193 is utterly disgusting, and due to a mess of ugly interactions, Cho'Gath can do 1000+ True Damage in a single hit, and that is by no means acceptable. It's time to take a look at True Damage, if you intend to keep Cho'Gath and the Stoneplate in the state they're in now.

An EXTREMELY simple fix to this disgusting combination is to change how True Damage interacts with damage reduction. If an enemy player does something to you that would reduce your damage output, I think it's fine to leave True Damage as it is now, as it is intended to be a way to circumvent opponents who are trying to neuter you. However, I think the change needs to happen when it comes to self inflicted damage reduction. I think that a great, great deal of the Cho'Gath abuse would go away entirely if True Damage was reduced by self-created effects that reduce damage. Given that Stoneplate is the only source of self-inflicted damage reduction, and its very apparent abuse by Cho'Gath, this is the easiest, most efficient way to nerf the ever loving shit out of this combination without actually damaging the champion or the item, or anyone else.

Please consider this change, because this Cho'Gath/Stoneplate shit has got to go.

Cho'gath is the issue He already does ridiculous true damage without stoneplate Other champions with true damage aren't problematic with stoneplate

Changes should be made to cho, not the item

I didn't say to change the item. I said to change how True Damage interacts with self-inflicted damage reduction.

Cho is a weird champ. He is a huge ball of stats.
