Why is J4 an assassin now? Does he need a rework to bring him back to what he was supposed to be?
Jarvan IV has been built a variety of different ways over the years Back in Season 2-3, he was a knockup and aura bot who set up his teammates w/ cataclysm In season 4, he was built bruiser with the intent of bursting people to fractions of their health and either beating them down or having teammates finish them. Since then, he's been seen as a cheesy mid and top laner that brings thunderlords decree and buys flat penetration to nuke kids into the floor from full hp. As a jungler, he's serviceable but far from being S-tier.
Jesus, you wanna talk about running the table as a melee champion. This champ is so far removed from what they originally intended the champion to be.
J4 is supposed to be a leader, a fighter with a grand weapon and tough armor who leads his team into battle. He is supposed to initiate and fight. He's not a solo missions kind of champ that hides in bushes and one shots people. That's Talon.
Is this champ in need of a rework? Part of me thinks he should be focused on smacking people around a bit and doing less dmg with his abilities and more about being a tanky scrapping initiator.
EDIT: The thread that got me thinking about this was the "Rework your Main" thread. I have 477k point on J4 and I'd have WAY more if the other seasons were taken into acct.
