Poppy Rework is the worst kit to come out in a LONG time.

AP Poppy? No longer viable. Hybrid Poppy? No longer viable. AD Glass Cannon Poppy? No longer viable. And for what?

No abilities in her kit have any interaction whatsoever. In fact, the only common element is 'hurr durr look at mah hammer'. Her only defensive steroids are her W Passive which, somehow, has less player interaction with it than Pre-Rework Poppy and her Champion Passive which flies off at all random angles more than half the time.

I mean, I appreciate the VU but Poppy didn't need this much of a kit rework. What she had worked for her, it just needed to be heavily tweaked and tuned. She needed a new Passive and a R, but ultimately she needed to function within the same niche that she always has. Riot even said (pre-rework) Poppy would be one of the strongest champions in the game if she was allowed to be viable. A big part of that was her Passive and R. Rework them into abilities that fill the same role in her kit but go about it in a healthier way and she would be fine.

they changed her cause she needed it. like annie and kat. she was all numbers. she had what she had and theres nothing to do about it enemy or teammate. hur dur imma ult and tower dive Q, Q ,Q. okay now that's done I'm gonna farm till ult is up and do the same thing hur dur. now she can actually contribute to team fights instead on consistently split them up by charging in and chasing behind towers

Is new Poppy's kit really the worst or are you just mad they burned & buried the old one (besides the E)?I think it's the latter.

I only played poppy and lulu and Poppy's ult, isn't what made old poppy fun it was her high burst for me the old Q if her new ult was simply creating a miniture Stone henge to slam people into then i'd be A-ok with that.

She's still mostly the same though. Q still does %HP chunks, but requires some comboing to get the full effect now. E still bashes into walls and stuns like always. The new W still gives bonus armor and move speed, but trades the bonus AD for a very useful utility function that damages and hinders dashing champions. The old R was incredibly annoying, but now she's traded it's invulnerability for a huge disruption ability that's just fucking sweet for breaking up clusters and turning around a fight.

I like the new kit.
