They're super super super generous when it comes to demoting people, you can lose like 10 games in a row and maybe you'd get flagged?

People say it's MMR based but I'm seeing people with 40/45% w/r's getting promoted constantly lol

Na you got a win which practically resets Riot's brain about demoting people, you could lose like another 6 comfortably lol

Having demoted one season from Plat to Gold, you will get a warning.

MMR is not just WR but the context of who your playing. LP Gains are slanted to move your Rank towards your MMR. Its designed to never stop correcting ratings so players can improve or get worse and its reflected . Recent trends will impact current ratings more then overall WR because it looks to account for context of who your vs.

I believe its an entire Tier. You also will receive a notification warning you your getting close to being knocked out.

The exact value is a variable #. The stated requirement is an entire Tier Loss of MMR. So I believe that you'd need to hit Bronze 4 MMR range before demoting.

A better question is... how many games can you play before you are wishing every horrible thing in the world to happen to Riot Games?
