Counterplay CC favorise the mobility meta

Just as the mobile champions weren't broken enough. Remember people, if you think that bringing healthy easy "just walk out/ just dash out" counterplay ; the meta won't be better. It will be even more toxic. Oh you might already play "muh skillshots, muh skillcap" champions with only 24 dashes and tools to shit on kiteable melees. But do you wonder why a good part of the champion pool has low playrate? Because step by step with the introduction of "muh counterplay", mobile champions are easier and easier to play and immobile champions too easy to outplay. Lets remove all point and click, all instant CC. Don't worry about the fact the mobile kite champions Ahri Vayne Kalista are suddenly a problem.

Yes, I think Annie stun is fine right now. Yes, I think Veigar stun was fine and much less unhealthy than permakiting with ridiculous dps. Yes, I think it's good for the game that carries are a little bit in danger and should have to (OMG) buy a defensive item in lategame. A while ago (S2?) every carry took guardian angel or banshees and nobody batted an eye. I don't think item 3139 was a healthy addition to the game.

I feel there is much much more power in botlane that it used to be long ago. But tbh at that time in competitive, supports only had boots at the end of the game. But right now, they're especially strong and hard to get through. Especially since everyone takes CC/peel supports Nautilus Braum Janna Thresh Alistar and supports more based on general utility(buffing auras? healing?)/poke are mostly unpopular because they kinda need to win lane to be relevant Sona Soraka Karma Zyra Velkoz .

Is this bad? Not necessarily. Though that kinda shits on the viability of assassins. But for the love of god, stop talking about healthy counterplay to immobile champions that can do nothing else because that is hidden buffs for a backline that is already safe enough / mobile champions that are safe enough. Being able to zone out people when you're immobile, is logical. You're fucking immobile, they can fucking build defensive items/ the supports can save them. It's entirely your fault if you get caught by an immobile champion. And immobile champions by definition have no escape, they put themselves in danger by trying to approach you to CC you. Think your Nautilus won't be happy to see a juicy little girl Annienext to him to CC her to death?

But fine, downvote me because your smart backline decided it was a good idea to be at flash-tibbers range of annie, with their 25 magic resist full damage build while their frontline is on the other side of the map.

And funnily enough, I'm not a huge player of Annie at all.

As a tank player myself. Immobile champions are easy prey for engages and lockdown, but the one shot while CC'ed is not anything fun to play against. As much as I hate insane mobility I also hate my adc to be blown up because their support righteous gloried his annie that flashed on top of him.

Well she blowed an important cooldown for that. And if Annie has no way to get to the backline, what does she offer exactly? High CD burst damage? Against a beefy frontline? Weak af. It is part of her gameplay to catch out people and burst them down. Else I'd take a DPS mage Cassiopeia Azir Viktor anyday in a situation where nobody gets caught out.

(Viktor is an exception somehow because he's a mix of a burstmage and a low-CD (-> dps) mage. No wonder he's extremely strong right now)
