Enough is enough. There needs to be punishment for under-performing in ranked.

I've been D1 for the past two seasons, and now I'm stuck at 0 LP D5 because this is happening so often.

For example, I just lost 51 LP because my team had players with scores like 0-8 and 1-11. They were moving balls of fuck ups; the entire game was literally watching them die to bad decisions, over and over and over.

There's no reason we should lose full LP, because a single terrible player on our team is consistently fucking up. Something needs to be done, so we aren't having our LP ravaged when the entire team plays well, except for one person who is playing like a handicap.

Just had a Kayle who died within 60 seconds of respawning, four times in a row. This shouldn't be a thing.

I lose series cause of this :)

I think the unskilled report should be a tool and it should match the unskilled with the unskilled. I don't have fun when I dominate my opponent, I want to go back and forth.

The way they can help filter the true unskilled is once they're reported for unskilled the player game stat will go thought a series of check along with their X most recent ranked games that haven't been used for a check and if it has a determine a pattern it will ding them. Now so it just put a good player an as "unskilled" player because of a few bad games (Which happens to all of us), it will take X amount of dings to label them as unskilled so it will que them with players around their level that are considered unskilled by the system as well.

Now the player need a way to get out from being "unskilled" so the system should check in an increase of performance after X amount of games take X most recent games that haven't been used for the check and the new score should be used against the "unskilled" score they came in with.

Something along those lines might help, but I just though of it now and on the fly so of course it have issues that need to be addressed and etc.

While the kind of language you are using isn't going to help your situation, I am in a similar situation as you... D1 two seasons in a row, stuck in D5 this season because of this exact thing.

I agree that it is unfair that in this game, the worst player decides who loses, not the best player deciding who wins. But what can they actually do about it?

Rate players after a game and adjust MMR based on ratings. If someone is consistently marked as shit, it's probably okay to assume that they are shit and adjust their rating accordingly.

Rate them based on what, exactly?

Manual ratings after games, from both the allied and enemy team.

I don't know what you mean by "manual ratings".

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. If you are doing your all to try and help these players and the game is still lost, then you have nothing to feel bad about, you did your best. If a player is truly doing their best despite being counter picked, then it would be harsh to punish them. However if a player is simply trolling or is on tilt and refuses any aid or advice, then simply report them for negative attitude or refusing to work together, pretty sure both are reportable offenses.

I just lost an entire week worth of LP to players who were AFK feeding. But that's totally fine.

Rate everyone from 1 to 5 after a match. Done.

What exactly would prevent me, or other players, or the enemy players just to rate every enemy a 1, but my allies a 5? Anyway, if players are consistently 'terrible', losing games repeatedly in which their MMR would sack down to the next Div5 of the Tier below they will get demoted to that Division.

Although it can take awhile, but it is meant to offer 'leniency'.

I wonder where we should start.

Everyone has bad games, like yours above. Get over it.
