While he is strong, he has lots of counterplay since pretty much all of his kit is telegraphed.

He's capable of moving the entire time he's using Dazzle or Radiance. There's no point to their cast times if he can readjust his positioning during the cast time.

At least it's a short skillshot now and not point and click like it was previously. And it has a small delay before the stun takes effect. Plus Radiance takes 2.5 seconds to take effect. That's plenty of time for an assassin or ADC to kill his team.

Back when it was point and click, it still had a travel time. And it could only affect one target. Now it has a large AoE originating from both you and your partner, and its damage scales with your already bolstered armor.

His passive is also monstrous because it makes his heal have next to no CD, which gives his passive next to no CD, then his other skills have next to no CD.

Although his heal does have a very short CD with his passive, he starts off with one stack when he does use it, which heals for 60 at it's highest level(which is lower's than Bard's max heal at it's lowest rank. Bard's.) The recharge time for one stack is 9 seconds at all ranks with max CDR. That means it'll take 27 seconds for his maximum heal to be ready. Other healers(Bard, Nami, etc.) can easily have their ADC back to a decent amount of health in the time for him to just start to heal his ADC.

Bastion and Dazzle's CD are 15 seconds at all ranks(9 seconds with max CDR). And, although I do agree that his armor ratio on his stun may need tuning, his stun(s) can easily be stopped by CC(roots, slows, stuns, etc) since he can't change the direction he's aiming at once he's cast it.

EDIT: In no way, shape, or form am I saying Taric's rework is bad or weak. I love that Riot gave him more counterplay whilst keeping his kit relatively the same and all his previous position still viable. I'm only saying that, although he may need tuning, he's relatively in an good spot.

Taric can produce his healing charges very easily. You can match the level of Nami's healing without even trying and in less time. The mana cost is the only thing that could make it remotely inefficient, but right now all you need is Coin line instead of Relic to remedy that.

Again, CDs are next to none because of his passive. You can't pretend that you aren't going to use his passive. His [E] is much easier to use than that. I've missed it several times only to get another chance within seconds. The moment you have to spend CC on the tank to prevent him from using his own, his partner is right there next him likely still capable of dealing damage and positioning themselves, and he can just come right out of it can CC you anyways. Even if you CC the partner, Taric can use them as a stun-cannon.

I love the new Taric. So much more satisfying to use. He's just disgustingly over-tuned right now.

All I see is an enemy bot lane refusing to focus Kog until it's too late, resulting in a snowball lane that synergizes really well with tarics utility :3
