it's a real shame the reputation she's got but it's not entirely undeserved

this champion actually has the potential to make some really nice plays using her Q and R, chaining them together etc. Id say janna has a very deceptive skill ceiling with creative and more aggressive uses of these spells

but she doesn't need to ever make aggressive plays. You do not ever need to grow beyond the basics with Janna and often it's a bad idea to flex on people with said plays. The nature of her kit makes it a better idea 100% of the time to sit far back and dump shields and the accompanied steroids on her carry and sit on her Q and R for peel. Its insane how a champion with such potential for plays can play so basic and get so rewarded for it

it's a real waste of what she COULD be

She's also one of the two support that helps her team rather than being bonded to her ADC

jannas play making power needs to operate in a way that doesn't demand she leave her area of comfort if it will ever be worthwhile to actually make those plays

It's a shame that a lot of players feel she has no skillcap at all, and that just isn't true.

It feels so good to tornado a Zac E that was about to hit your entire team, or using Q/R on about any engage or dash, really.

but it really isnt that hard considering both her r and q are instant any amount of decent reaction time and you should never get hit by a zac e just by double tapping q

I wasn't being too specific about what kind of engage, just most dashes in general.

For other faster dashes and leaps it can be gamd changing whether you have the proper reaction time or not.

I really like playing aggressive with her. It's really fun and the enemy always underestimate her. However i only mostly ever do this with my friend because 95% of the time my ADC wont play as aggressive when I'm Janna.

The thing that is the most frustraiting when playing against her is that she can easily cockblock any gapcloser with low cd and when still have the ult if thigns go wrong. The instant knockup on Q makes it near impossible to get close to the adc vs any somewhat decent janna. Imo the best call to make would be changeing her Q to nolonger have a knock up on snapcast, but only after some channle time and else a huge but brief slow like Sion Q. This would allow to put much mor power into the charged tornado, maybe even give an indicator for janna and her allies where it's heading while chargeing so your mates can play around it aswell.
