the problem becomes when a champion can do everything well there's no point in picking other people in their class when they're good. lee can do a lot of things but he's a jack of all trades, not a generalist. he's never going to have as much damage as a kha'zix or be able to tank as well as zac or have the same utility nunu does, but he can sort of compare in certain builds. he can't do everything.

Swain isn't a general anymore. He's the leader/rule of Noxus. Darius is a general though.

As for his title as Grand general, it was written in a older lore story as the title of the current ruler of Noxus (Currently Swain unless they change that too).

But since this story was removed from the site i can only refer to remaining piece of it, Darius's lorepage.

It there states that Darius allied himself with swain because he felt that Swain was the best fit to lead and rule Noxus. And as such he became the right hand man of Swain, as well as the country's greatest frontline general gaining him the title of hand of Noxus which plays on those two things.

The problem with Fizz, is that when he's played mid (98% of the time he's picked), is that most "meta" mid laners are weak against him. His kit and scaling makes it so that if he kills you, he snowballs like a mother fucker, and if he doesn't, he just gets away scot-free.

Fizz and Darius are on my permaban list.

there's no reason to play any jungler similar to lee right now, and no jungler besides LeeSin Graves Ivern Sejuani (for maybe another patch or two lel) is worth picking. and that shows by the fact he's picked in nearly half of all games in plat+, which is a complete joke

the only jungler close to Lee Sin that can hold a candle to him right now is Elise. vi, hecarim, xin zhao, etc, not worth playing because he does what they do and so much more all by himself, and he's a lot better than most of them in this early game meta that riot forced on us with the s7 jungle

no point? how about differing kits and uses in games. lee's engage is meh at best and in protect and peel comps he falls flat. it's kinda hard to insec when you can't Braum Chogath Ekko Orianna Vayne move and need to stack 3 ad items and be completely squishy in order to gank properly and only get sort of tanky lategame. why not pick elise who has good base stats and can go full tank and jump farther right after her first pen or ap item and still be tanky and relevant and have good lockdown/engage/dps. I'd say even zac can insec better than him now because he can press r and insec multiple people back into your team for you on a green gooey platter. yes lee's kit allows him to do all of those things. tank or burst or insec for a good pick, but not all at once. he has ok to good bonus ad ratios, meaning he must build ad to do ad and has no natural defense steroid other than a dinky shield and lifesteal that he maxes last.

Very sure Lee sin boasts a 4.8 AD growth total for his rotation. Suggesting his ratios are only good when they are higher than a significant portion of the cast is misleading. There is a reason he can hit hard with bruiser items

I never said how good or not his ratios were. my point was if he goes tank he does 0 damage and if he builds ad to do relevant damage he's not very tanky. that's a big part of how he's balanced.

The majority of champions in the game work off of BONUS AD ratios. Talon uses BONUS AD ratios. 5.7
Zed uses BONUS AD ratios. something something 3.5 AD Pantheon uses BONUS AD ratios. 4.4 AD Rengar uses BONUS AD ratios. 4.9 total ratio counting R's guaranteed crit Lee Sin: 4.8 AD

The benefit he receives from AD is comparable to some of the most damage assassins in the game, and unlike a champion such as Pantheon, he possesses a better toolkit for remaining relevant throughout the game. In fact, the only argument which can be made for him hitting for less than the above mentioned champions, is because of the recent nerf to the base damage of his ultimate which scales at a whopping 2.0. The only ones in that list above which compare are Rengar, and Pantheon for a SINGLE ability. Let us not forget the fact that his Q has an 8% missing health damage boost to it.

I never said how good or not his ratios were. my point was if he goes tank he does 0 damage.

The only champions in the game that maintain relevant damage while building entirely tank were champions such as Ekko and Fizz who had high base damage which was promptly nerfed significantly, in lieu of boosting the AP ratios for their respective abilities. WHich meant they couldnt be tank ekko and proceed to punch people in the face.

and if he builds ad to do relevant damage he's not very tanky. that's a big part of how he's balanced.

This applies to everyone dude. There are very few champions which can deal relevant damage while being tanky, and they are generally very difficult to land their abilities with such as Sion. Look, I don't really care for Lee Sin anymore, if Riot believes he is balanced the way he is then they hold the necessary data to prove it.
