Help with Riven mechanics please

I have recently started playing Riven and after like 20ish games i knew that i must be doing something wrong. I know she takes a tremendous amount of skill to play, and I’m willing to get her to a high level of play no matter how long it takes.

A mechanic that is good to use with her is animation canceling. However, idk how to do this animation canceling.

I think I know the “fast combo” (q auto q auto q auto... but this doesn’t feel very “fast” so i’m prob doing something wrong as well here)

There are many more mechanics for Riven but these are the main 2 i want to worry about right now. If anyone can help me with either of these that would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!

There are lots of videos on youtube that show you how to do that. I don't play Riven but I did not want to be a shitty riven while playing her in ARAM and using the original Championship riven skin. I had to enter practice mode and do the combos. The practice tool is very useful to riven.
