Is the client really laggy for anyone else?

It just recently started, after the 9.24 patch, and the client is so ridiculously laggy for me. Is anyone else experiencing this?

ALSO, post game lobby has a bug. It now either shows that all the players have left or are still in the lobby. It doesn't say whether or not a player leaves in the chat box anymore. Not necessarily a game breaking bug, just annoying when I'm trying to type to someone who I think is there and I end up wasting time typing to nobody

Extremely. I'm not sure what's the cause or the trigger. But randomly after a game the client becomes unbearably laggy. Chat comes in slow, and elements of the UI respond several seconds after being interacted with. Restarting the client fixes it, but it happens again eventually.

I'm getting it too. I just close and reopen after every 2nd or 3rd game. That usually fixes it.

You are not alone, I was stuck in pick screen in my first game today, and the second took so long that I just left. Cancerous stuff, seriously

Temporary fix for me, a bit faster than restarting but kind of the same thing. If you go into task manager, under Processes find 'LeagueClientUxRender.exe' and close the one thats hogging up the most memory. I assume we have to wait for this issue to be resolved

Still an issue for me here. Anyone get it resolved? I just got an abandon because it was lagging so hard. Game runs fine. just the client is an issue
