I can't stand the balance of the game right now
All I ever feel like I see on the PBE is just more damage buffs to champs. Oh, X champ is struggling? Buff their damage! When it comes to certain champs that deserved to be nerfed by now (Riven and Vayne), nothing is done about them. Wasn't there a post discussing how Vayne is way beyond 55% winrate with a massive playrate? And Riot's response is that she was on the edge but not quite there? Where is the tipping point for them to actually nerf her then?! Are they really afraid to nerf them because they're big in LCS or something (IDFK, I don't watch that shit) and doing so would lose viewership? Don't people already hate that there's a lot of focus on the dame LCS?
Then there's runes, which we've had so much trouble on, new items like Shojin's which is just stupid when combined with the champs that abuse the item, champs that have been released/reworked are usually unfun to play against, with certain things put into their kits (or overloading them), and lots of the time they're nerfed hard because of their presence in the pro scene while they then suffer in normals/Solo Q, etc. for everyone else.
Top lane from what I understand is becoming riddled with range champs like Vayne and just suffer for it, which Riot apparently refuses to balance out even though they did it with bot lane after mages started to come in. Games feel like they can just be decided to whoever has the better champs, gets fed and gets first tower. Champions are just getting shoved into roles without having some creativity or fun like before when the game first launched and in the first few seasons.
All of this just makes the game feel miserable to play, with the only solution, for me, is to play against the dumb bots (and even then it isn't that fun). Maybe I'm just going through another regression or my love/interest is finally dying out, IDK. The game just isn't the same when I first started and at this point i have no fucking clue what Riot can due to keep me playing.
