Theres no reason to not play a mage or jayce top lane in this patch

Conqueror nerf removed almost every bruiser from the game, right now a champ like vlad or jayce is better than bruisers at all stages of the game.

There are no mages in mid except the ones that counter assassins so... yeah? They have to go somewhere right?

Unfortunate if that's the case as if anyone picks a mage for top before you then you just pick Mundo and you win.

Considering the buff they gave his Masochism yea. He gets 42% magic resist from it at max meaning to mages, unless they do %hp damage, he is dam near unkillable.

Then the mage just aoes your teams while they ignore mundo?

It doesnt matter that they cant kill him in lane or whatever, they have the adc to kill him late game and morellos is one of the eaiest mage items in the game to build.

Not about his hp regen but his magic resist. 42% from Masochism is huge and if he wins hard enough in lane then he will go to other places to spread it and help his lanes out. On top of that the jungle will need to be either top a lot to slow him down/turn the tide or they abandon top in which case Mundo runs it down and pulls people from other lanes. Also he does a lot of damage and can't be ignored like that or your carries are dead anyways. The mage will be behind and do very little damage if Mundo dominates as the scenario we have would make it appear and thus as soon as the bot & mid carries die to the ignored Mundo then his team wins.

Not saying they can't win but on their own they will have a really hard time and won't be strong enough by the mid game to stop him from going where he pleases.
