Cho is like bordline completely broken and op
a silence then a knockup/super slow so you cant get away and a fuckton of damage while being super tanky
even
cant do close to what cho can do

Cho's problems are:
High utility Ranged AoE CC Tanky High damage
Those 4 should never be together.
gnar?
gnar?
Gnar is gutted isn't he Plus Gnar doesn't do as much damage as a full tank, he's not as tanky since he doesn't build full tank, and his burst in mega is partially skillshots.
Gnar is straight up broken again.
He should be gutted, but he isn't.
I'd ban him if top lane wasn't so shitty and I didn't have to ban Riven, Yasuo, Akali, or Pantheon before hand.
Don't forget cho goth
They should put a cooldown per target on his W.
They shoudl remove his movement speed from his W and lower the damage. No reason a champion with a tiny hitbox and is ranged needs a massive movement speed buffer while also out damaging me in melee range.

Why not?
A champion shouldn't be tanky as fuck AND have a shitton of damage to take you down with. If they do, they're usually melee and sacrifice hard cc.

Hey it doesn't seem ADC suffer from the same criteria :/
Anyway, the issue here is the newly added hp scaling on his ult. We just need to remove it or make it so it doesn't deal bonus damage with that new ho doubling item.
He's not nearly as strong as people make him out to be. And skillshot champions seriously beat the hell out of him. Champions like Mundo rek his ass. (25% current hp cleaver, anyone?). Morgana on enemy team=cho'gath might as well not exist.
I honestly just want battlemage cho'gath back instead of this new cho'gath who scales with HP.
Probably cause each trait cancels out the others weakness. If somthings tanky with high damage that means its easy to kite but the ranged cc stops that problem. Along with utillity that I guess means he can help the team while being a carry

I mean, it's already harder for him to get to an enemy champion than any other juggernaut/tank/whatever you call it. His Q is hard af to land unless the person actoss from you lets it happen. His W process AFTER it casts, so if you are fast enough you can dodge it as he begins to cast it. His new E is sort of crazy but as long as you kite him there's no problem. As for his ult, as long as that one new double hp item stops doubling the bonus damage on it we'll be done with balancing cho'gath.
Cho'gath is also really really easy to kite now, simply because he's so big that getting hit by skillshots and getting stuck on units/minions are serious problems.
Just kite him xdd
It's not Cho. It's stoneplate, this stupid as fuck item they thought would benefit the game. Take no damage, yeah, that's not going to be a problem for balance at all.
So what do you think they should do about it?
Uhh make his slow on E less oppressive for starters..
Rather than that, just make his slow apply to primary target only for the E, giving a rylais slow effect on his E was always broken, consult old ap bruiser builds on him for proof.
The issue is that; he can apply such a strong slow with just a basic attack, then follow it up with 2 other forms of hard CC, and then point and click you for a shitload of true-damage.. I know im literally just listing his kit to some people here.. But the problem is that his E sets up his other skills FAR too easily for just being a basic attack.. Lets not forget its also a AA reset..
It should be a brief slow for like .75s to set up his Q not 1.5.. and the slow amount should about 50% of the current values.
Why are you letting chogath reach you in for the auto in the first place? he's slow, and gets huge so skillshots are ez pz. If your melee, well, mana issues early to shut him down
Do you read what you type before you hit post?
a lot of said he was weak thanks to this rework he's in a good spot apparently he can now 1v1 darius which sounds good for everybody right?
eh, no burst mobility should mean strength elsewhere.
So many champs are having their burst mobility cake and eating it, keeping up with less mobile champs in every way that matters
I'm fine with Chogath so long as he gets a damage cap on the ult interaction with stoneplate. 2k true dmg is too much
My problem is that I can't seem to find a champion that can even damage him in lane.
Both J4 (top) and Ahri (mid) are very strong champions in lane phase typically, being able to poke almost anyone out of lane. Especially someone that's immobile. Then there's Cho'gath, who completely ignores all of my damage and just farms minions and stays at full health the entire time. Then he outscales in to a monster.
Immobility is a weakness, but he seems to have too many strengths to make up for it right now.
the only problem with him is his stoneplate interaction
if u cant beat cho gath with his terrible mana problems then ur just playing the matchup wrong.

Everyone knows he's broken. Don't see why you have to attempt concealing it.
he was only ever complained about after stoneplate came out, hell be perfectly fine when stoneplate interaction is nerfed
Nah he's always been a problem. You're right, it's simply that people never talked about him until Stoneplate. Believe me, whenever I have a bad day I play Cho cause he's a near confirmed lane-win. And even if you don't win lane, he becomes unkillable late game.
i've played cho for years, hes acually been quite bad but hes able to stomp un coordinated play because of his disruption playstyle.
as soon as they nerf the stoneplate interaction, he'll go back to being as he used to be.

Vayne is the only real counter but even she can get fucked over due to Cho' gaining more range the bigger he is.
I have several questions as to how the hell you can't deal with Cho.
these items exist for a reason. They melt cho down to nothing, and if you can't dodge his longass Q time with a champion that has a mini flash, or actually got close enough to be stupid and not CC him, you deserve to die. He's not hard to counter if you're semicompetent. And even if he gets a stoneplate and can oneshot you, he can only do that when his
if up, so you have a solid 5 goddamn minutes after a single oneshot.
he only has a 4 second window to do massive damage and it can be easily avoided with vision.
The way I see it his base kit has essentially turned into a
Q : Doesn't matter how many he misses, he just has to land one, and ya done son.
He lands a lucky q, that's a follow up with a w, using e to make sure you ain't going anywhere, all while bursting you down
He lands a w, that's a free e + q since you can't react because silenced
He tags you with an e, that's a w unless you got quick reaction times, followed with a q
All of which followed by that ult of his, which if he landed everything else, you'll be in the perfect position for. All the while his passive makes sure he can't be pushed outta lane. He may be an idiot and use his mana too quickly, but he'll just have to farm. He gets it back quicker than you think.
Don't even get me started by how much worse it gets with
as someone abusing cho at the moment, it's mostly the stoneplate causing a lot of issue. Stoneplate's interactions with Cho and Locket are all simply dumb. Though Cho could use a little nerf, it's stoneplate's fault for a lot of things.
the thing about cho is its not difficult to dodge the q if he's initiating with it. if you're not respecting the thing thats bigger than a dragon you deserve to get caught. people are still in that mindset where cho was useless and forget that his entire combo is strong only if you land the q.
