What does Heimer need to see tournament play?
I rarely see him in my games and when I do, he doesn't do well. I don't remember the last time I saw Heimer in tournament either. What's the problem?

He just needs someone who doesn't want to win to play him.
IMO his biggest issue is that he is only strong when he has had time to set his turrets up. A Heim away from 2-3 turrets has very low dmg output, with how heavily focused the game is on rotations the donger can't set up his nest and thus, doesn't bring anything to a teamfight.
Especially when his turrets are destroyed easily.
Like Master Yi or old Fiora, Heimerdinger preys on the unorganized and uncommunicative. If he's just allowed to AFK push top (or mid, whatever), he'll ruin plenty of days, but if his team is relying on him to roam and snowball other lanes, or if the enemy team can coordinate dives on him, he falls behind REALLY hard. A pro team knows to smite or back off from his towers and ult, and he just doesn't offer enough to make his pushing strengths worth it. Viktor has the same level of zone control, plus burst and safe waveclear, for example.
The very thing that makes him Heim, the turrets, the reason hes such a dominate lane bully is for he has time to set them up and create grounds, once a heim has a proper field set up hes good to go. So outside of lane phase where he is not given the luxury to set everything up as he would like he is just so easy to pick off, all he has left now is his stun which is hard to land and his missles, basically he is this really weird pick who in my opinion is a very weak version of ahri.
Yeah that is right I am comparing Ahri To Heim
They both have a long range poke spell that scales well with ap, they both have a solid cc stun type skill. And when i look at heim and then ahri, i can never see a situation where I want Ahri less then heim.
basically for a character to be seen as good in any action type video game that character must have two things.
1-a job 2-the ability to execute that job well
Heims job as far as i can see it, is to create a zone of pressure while offering high ap burst, he manipulates the field to his advantage, but outside of lane phase he does that quite poorely.
Honestly this was the reason gangplank was a bad champion for such a long time, gangplank had no job, now he was reworked into a carry whos job is to provide global split push pressure with the ability to, to win one v ones, to where if he joins a team fight, because hes fed and skilled can out duel and hunt down multiple people.
Let's talk about a champion who also sees zero play, Akali, Akali to put things short, is the terrible version of Diana. They both have this job
To jump onto someone, kill them, or to stick onto them like glue, akali does this through charges, diana does this through resets and her soft cc with her pull/drag. However Akali is super squishy and easy to burst down, while haveing high energy costs that can easily turn against her, Diana can avoid this problem by building mana items, while still being a heavy burst, with a shield that scales with AP I believe to protect her. So who is the better pick here if u want a AP assassin to stick onto someone like glue? Diana, for she can do it, without being bursted down thanks to her shield and disruption in her toolkit while still offering the same form of burst.
When a champion can no longer execute their job efficiently, they become a bad champion. Which is the state of Heim right now.
B-But i love heim! He's really good (or at least i can play him well). :( I play him most of the time. I agree with Junkyard TrundIe, I've been wondering why there is no donger in the tournament world/lcs/worlds. Is this why? Because no one can find a way to set up right?
Good players in high elo just simply make it near impossible to set him up for success.
His kit doesnt really fit well into a team comp. Nothing wrong with ap ratios or abilities.
The only problem with ap ratios in his kit are his turret. I'm not talking about damage. I'm talking about the turrets survivability. They are paper at all stages in the game.
he has 2 main issues:
1- he is countered by any champion with ranged attack or a ranged ability, as his turrets HP scale reeeaaaaly badly, so much that they are 1 shot by most things.
2- the worst mobility in the game, it's so bad, that even if you added infinite dashes (
ult like stuff) he would still have crap mobility, in other words, he can't roam to assist other lanes as he requires to have his 3 turret formation to be up.
in short, he pays with mobility for his turrets without it being really worth it as they are easily killed.
i like the concept of a champion that plays like that and i like heimer, they need to allow him to be more dynamic, to pick up turrets, make his turrets have more HP, shield his turrets or something like that, also allow him to deal better against range.
Shitty teamfighting besides ult Really easy to counter Nobody builds banner of command+zzrott+Ryalai's +liandrys+roa as a build
Boobs?
