Vladimir really needs more counterplay in late game team fights

The particular issue being how trivial it is for him to safely proc Phase Rush on the front lines, and then barrel into the back lines at 700+ movement speed while basically dumpstering 70% of the carries' health without them being able to retaliate in any way, and forcing them out of the fight as the rest of his team kills their front lines.

As it stands, you basically just lose if Vladimir hits 3-4 items. His survivability and damage are both way too high, especially when you compare him to champions like Kennen, who are supposed to excel at team fights. He completely shits on them in both categories.

If they make his late game worst, would have to make his early game better.

i can agree with this is feels very weird for his W to actually be a decent tool to engage instead of run

trivial? Running straight into a late game right clicker isnt trivial

Proccing Phase Rush on the front lines and running into a late game right clicker while being untargetable and moving at 700 MS is trivial.

He has ONE attack he can use in W and W and all his moves also hurt him, and if he builds defensive at all to last outside of W he won't do damage.

He can charge his E while in W and then let it off, literally aoe nuking you for a bunch while untargetable and gaining 700 ms with phase rush.

Yes if he is close enough where he can get in range with just w he deserves to get an aoe nuke off. He's not even very strong right now and you have to get your R off whilst outside of w anyway to be useful.

I cant imagine complaining about vlad while some right clicker sits behind their team and right clicks for the same damage he does lmao

Vlad needs adjustments. He is too binary right now, slightly leaning towards the strong side.

Dumpster him early game, he is in a very bad position for how heavy he relies on cdr and ap scaling. His early game is one of the weakest, if not the weakest amongst all champions.

On the other hand, once he gets fed, there is no stopping him late game. Huge delayed AOE nuke which also gives massive healing, brief invulnerability and high movement speed for backline access, mostly unmissable skills (kinda weird to call his W and R a point and click but they are close to unmissable), and a zhonyas to buy him time for the delayed healing to kick in.

Because of meta changes, such as turret plating slowing down early game pace, his transitioning from early game into a late game beast is smoothened a lot, resulting him being Tier 1 for a few consecutive patches.

I think Riot needs to buff his early game by giving him better base stats and nerf his late game by increasing his W cooldown at max ranks.

You can literally just shit on him early game and he's useless, unless you throw him some kills. Late game just cc the shit out of him and try to chain it, then he can't do anything, Zhonya's Hourglass just cucks him so hard if he goes for an all in because you can avoid the Hemoplague damage on top of damage after the Hemoplague dealt from Vladimir himself or other champions.

Literally all you need to do against a Vladimir in lane is force or bait his Sanguine Pool, then all in him, he can't do anything.
