Any chance we can make fervor of battle have some sort of scaling?

I feel like one of the major issues with fervor of battle that makes it so "abusable" is the fact that it scales purely with level, allowing champions to reap its full benefits while not really having to build damage (creating the damage tank champion issue that has popped up with numerous champions and will continue to pop up for more champs in the future as people play around with the fervor mastery).

Perhaps add an AD and/or AS scaling system and completely remove the scale from level portion of fervor?

This should allow ADCs and melee carries that build as they were intended to to still reap the benefits of fervor of battle without allowing tanks and melee carries that build off-meta tank builds to abuse fervor.

This is basically no different than what was done to kill tank fiora (better scaling, weaker base, in this case, adding scaling and removing base growth).

Something along those lines is pretty likely in pre-season. We'll be doing some work on Keystone masteries, both to address balance problems and to improve degree to which some champions feel they have appealing options in the system. Fervor's top of our list balance wise, with some form of scaling besides just AS a likely solve for the problems seen with it.

There are many different scalings you can add to it that can benefit all sorts of auto attack oriented champions. Look at thunderlords which has both AP and AD scalings. I doubt fervor would be no different so that it could still work on hybrid auto attackers like Kayle.

Weaker on champs that aren't building damage to go with it's the first goal. Potentially just weaker in general too.

Hmm sounds fair Though it would hurt KogMaw (Kog'maw) most of all wouldn't it? As he relies on Fervor a lot and doesn't really build much AD (because of the way his W work) will you look at his power level when changing Fervor then? Or do you think he will be fine?

They release a Dev blog about Kog'maw an hour ago. He's getting changes soon.

Oh thanks And that's great to see as Kog'maw existence is also somewhat limiting for on-hit effects as he gets much more use out of them then almost any other champion ever could (meaning if it is balanced on Kog'maw it might not be so great on other champions... or if it is balanced on other champions it might be broken on Kog'maw)

Will it still be decent on Fiora ?

What are the chances of removing Keystones entirely since they've harmed the game far more than they ever could have helped?

Mastery idea I had from another thread: 2/4/6/8/10% increased vision range on Wards. Last tier before keystones, so it can't be used in a "secondary" tree. Figured this was a good place to bring it up and hopefully get it noticed [slayer-jinx-catface]

I know getting 3 BF swords of on hit dmg from fervor is dumb, and it got basically everything on-hit with it nerfed in s6, but my Gnar is gonna miss it. I was rocking fervor Gnar before Darshan did. None of the other choices feel good.

Also any plans to make DFT feel good outside aram or Jhin? It's kinda a late late late game thing and very subtle... Requires perhaps too much raw dmg stat to work, the opposite of fervor. Maybe if it has some level scaling like fervor mages who like to buy mana can feel better about it middle levels so it is a middle-late thing as opposed to TLD's early-mid curve. Or you could make the base damage of DFT cheesy so it's early & late. I think middle-late makes more sense, then with DFT being a good option you can make level 1 and 2 TLD's more impactful too. Make more choices. More impact.

It'd also be lovely if the tooltips for the keystones recorded the dmg they dealt that game so the PLAYERS can kinda gauge the impact from them game to game and get them more interested.

....Why should we be forced into any sort of build or meta......Why do we all have to be sheep and not build what we want in a game and be punished for it.

and tank ekko has no weaknesses, and thus should not be allowed to exist.
