Anivia Q has awkward gameplay usage

From what I've noticed this issue only occurs when the target of the Q is above Anivia in the screen. The stun range indicator will be lying on the champion intended to be stunned, proc the Q again, yet would not cause any damage or stun on the target. I apologize I have no pictures or videos to help demonstrate what I mean by this. My internet crashes if I run something like OBS with LoL :(

The gameplay usage is perfectly fine, and has been since at least season 2. The problem is the utterly broken "range indicator" they added to the end of the cast range. It doesn't work properly, and it just confuses people unfamiliar with the spell.

The indicator is completely broken. Don't even bother with it. Just hit them with the spell directly.

Would be nice if it were fixed, had it so many times where the indicator would say "it should stun" but doesn't :(
