Cool Cass changes, but they didn't fix her main problem

That being that there's no place in the game for a sustained poke mage, when most other champions are killing their targets in ~3 seconds. Cass is either dead or the fight is over before she's had enough time to do her thing. On top of not having compensation for the mana nerfs and loss of her passive, while she was already in a pretty bad place prior to these changes.

Please do something that makes sense for once and fix Cass to work with the current state of the game. It may feel 'less poisony,' but her Twin Fangs spamming play style was more viable than what we have now.

I definitely preferred the old play style but I have to argue with some of your points here. I've found some success with her vs hard engage teams for sure. Stand next to your ADC and be the scary poison mage that prevents anyone from closing in on your ADC. She still does a substantial amount of damage too.

Also... Mana issues? Once I build tear I'm basically never out of mana on her no matter how much I spam. Not sure what you're doing.

If you're against something with sustain, you'll likely run OOM before you can kill it thanks to the removal of Twin Fangs mana refund.

She does substantial damage if left alone and against no assassins, which is very rare and only happens in low rated games. She's pretty much reduced to a glorified support that's stuck protecting the ADC, which she does much worse than she used to. Prior to the mage update, she could melt diving bruisers pretty well with Twin Fangs. Now, she can no longer do that.

"If Twin Fang kills its target, it refunds its mana cost."

Are you sure you'r playing League of Legends...? I've played Cass quite a few times, and her Twin Fang still restores mana. Even if the target dies before Twin Fang lands, she still gets the refund back. Not to mention this, coupled with Tears' 25% mana cost refund, means it's basically all the same with 1.5% max mana refund (keyword: almost).

Mana issues hasn't been a problem for me. My only complaint with Cassiopeia is that Noxious Blast does little damage early to mid game, especially considering it's over 3 seconds. It isn't until I'm 4+ items that Noxious Blast begins to hurt, and that's not always going to be the case when you have a Cassiopeia that can't thrive on killing her opponents as easily as other mages.

Well unless you are a dedicated Cass main ... you shouldn't be picking Cass 100% of the time anyway. She fills a niche and fits into certain team comps just like Ryze and he also sees competitive play.

Sure, the mana nerfs are annoying and the very early levels where we do not have Tear are harder now, however due to the overall item changes, she has no mana issues once she gets Tear / AA. When it comes to the passive, it was trash ... and now it's decent.

Actually it's MORE viable now than it has ever been... sure, we lost 10% AP ratio, but we gained 95 flat base dmg and the ability to spam non-poisoned targets without 5s cooldown. It's more flexible now and also more obnoxious once you get Rylai's. And if you want overkill, you can reduce the CD to 0.4 with max CDR.

I think they had great ideas on the rework, but the mechanics are horrible and hard to use. And she lost so much in order to get those ideas

Dude i remember your fine posts when Cass got reworked for the first time, yet now i have to say you're wrong.

She is really strong right now, and viable at all stages of the game, i actually play Cass maxing her Q after i get 2 points on her E, she feels a lot like release Cassio, i am really happy with the changes.
