I guess I just don't understand the appeal of Riot giving dynamic queue so much importance.

Riot: "We can't give you Loss Forgiven if a teammate never connects to the game because we don't want people to take advantage of it, and ranked is a place for serious competitors."

Riot: "Here is dynamic queue in ranked, and we're are going to put a lot of importance on your dynamic queue rank. I'm sure you guys won't _take advantage _of the system, and get 2 of your high ELO friends to carry you, and ruin the experience for the other team by making them play against opponents far outside their skill level.

i mean, they're putting soloq back in the game, so i guess they just wanted to put it in to please the bronzies who complain about being bad & not being able to get out.

i think their logic behind it was, if 90% of bronze is complaining that they can't get out because their teams are bad, give them new teams. give them the option to queue up with other bronzies so they stop whining. riot benefits, bronzies benefit, hurts nobody.

really dynamic queue, after soloq comes back, doesn't affect anyone at all. the only people who play it are people that don't care about ranked and want to take it casually and play with friends. your rank won't be a reflection of your skill level at all, and people who are like bronze 5 level in soloq could get ~silver-gold in dynamic queue. the 2 will be separated so people who DO want to take ranked seriously will be playing soloq.

idk, i thought it was stupid at first but it doesn't really affect me at all. i'll just be playing soloq and the people who are bad will be in dynamic queue so it doesnt bother me at all. they can have their fun.

I completely agree! I need to find it, but Riot said they are putting "greater importance" on dynamic queue rank.

i doubt that will happen. people are already taking advantage of dynamic queue and getting their higher ranked friends to carry them. hell, i've had people flat out ask me to carry them. so obviously the system is being exploited, don't think riot will scrap soloq all together because they know how bad dynamic queue is

I personally love Dynamic Q. It lets me play the roles that I want to play. Once the balance is brought into some area of reasonable, I actually now look forward to ranked since people will be playing positions they are comfortable with.

I really like the idea of dynamic queue, I guess more specifically, it's is being able to triple queue.

Personally I'm sick of dynamic que. It would be one thing if you always had an even number of premades on both sides. It's simply not the case. The system does it's best to get 2 teams of the same skill level playing the positions they want. Pretty sure the last thing it tries to balance is premades. In at least 3 of my games last night I was against 2 duos and a random vs 5 random solo players. Ether that or my duos were so bad they wouldn't even admit they were playing together. In ether case it's screwed. As a solo player - my influence goes down hard when theres always premades on the other side. Personally I don't have any friends I want to duo with that play when I play. This means I have to play solo vs premades - which sucks the big one.

And that's why True Solo Queue is going to be fantastic.
