There was no problem with taliyah before you had to mini-rework (massively gut her mid viability because of success in pro-play) her.
Now that she's played as a jungler she's a balancing nightmare and is constantly being changed.
But i guess if riot didnt balance around pro-play in the first place, we wouldn't be having this issue.

And what % of that player base actually knows balance? Between silver and bronze anything goes, balance doesn't exist down here and trying to get an idea of what's stronk is impossible. It's why Yi is a low elo god but a meh pick the higher you climb. That knocks out at least 70% of the player base, 90% if you want to include gold ranked players in that group since they are knowledgeable but only middle tier in terms of knowledge.
