I didn't expect URF to be this bad...

I just don't know what was I expecting but it seems that people only want to tryhard and end the game as fast as possible, every game there is a or whatever OP champ there is, 4 years ago when URF was new it was super fun because people didn't know what's good and 'OP' now it's just like no one wants to have fun only picking most broken stuff, for example, champions like full AD crit full AP and really fun champs to try on URF, but sadly no one wants to even try new things on URF because they saw a YouTuber play something that's OP and that's that.

If you decide to remove URF for good after this 10 year anniversary, honestly I wouldn't blame you, community ruined this game mode.

EDIT: The thing this game mode is missing is custom game setup, for instance, I have a discord server with over 40 people and we would love to play as 10 man premade on a custom game of URF, play the game as we want. Custom games were available on old URF so why not bring them back?

I completely agree with this discussion. The thing that bothers me the most is, yeah lots of people like this game mode, but it's the only game mode that gets brought back. Why not throw in All for One, or Doom Bots, or Nexus Blitz, or Ascension? Why is it only URF that gets played again? I personally like AURF better because at least we didn't see the same op champs over and over again... 5 bans is not enough.

Well as expected:

First 12 hours URF were really fun. Won't deny.
1 day later and you're no longer allowed to have with fun with anything but OP picks.
Now you get flamed for not playing OP, for not building OP, for loosing a lane.

This community is the most insane pile of trash I've ever seen. But I really cannot call this a newsflash.

This is how URF has always been.

It supposed to be a fun mode. But it's not because it's pick OP and try hard, or die every 20 seconds to the people who do.

This mode is trash that only people who like being cyber bullies actually want.

I wish Riot would have kept their word to retire it ...

What exactly do the people whining about URF want?

Do they want a community of millions to just arbitrarily decide to pick only weak to mediocre champs? That won't happen.

Do you want Riot to just ban all of the champions who are good in URF? So what, all the people who want to play those champions who happen to be good in URF can go fuck themselves?

There will always be a meta in any game mode of any game. Stop whining about weak champs getting btfo and start playing champions who can actually do well in the mode, because Riot does not and should not balance for it.

Yeah it's suck...

You can't even play Karma and run on the enemy base trying to make them chase you, they all have dashes or more mobility : Jhin run faster than Karma with his stupid build. It's not even fun.

Also i hate people who plays this abomination in urf : Yuumi

This is why we haven't seen URF in almost a year. (OFA would be even worse, I think.)

Having said that - there really should be a custom mode. I can't think of any reason not to have URF customs.

I'd also like the option to put bots in my HA customs. Not sure why that isn't allowed...

I Play nunu in URF just to piss off the enemy team. I go solo the elder dragon soon as it pops up. The game ends 6min after that.

i play almost exclusively GP, Jhin, Cass and Cho this urf and have been dominating most my games against the S-tier champs lol. I have had almost no issues with urf this time around except that we cant custom game

When the game mode originally came out Damage was also lower. Don’t forget that portion of why things are the way they are.

4 years ago the same happened, only difference is 4 years ago when URF got released for the 1st time it took about 2/3 days before people found out what are the most OP champions, after that you saw the same 10 champions every game, fast forward to today and it is well known which champions are obscenely OP in URF that's why it's bad from day 1.

I guess I've just been lucky with my games, because I hardly have seen tryhards spamming the same OP champs over and over again. I, myself, use URF to cheese (like on-hit adc Janna) and have fun with it with my friends, but I guess others haven't been doing the same and I'm sorry to hear that.

I think it's because there's currently a larger gap between the strongest champs and everyone else, due to there being less defensive options in game to counter them.

this game is no fun without friends. and we still only get 1 ban each...

i remember how many ppl were against a total of 5 bans per team. laughable. in shit like urf we need 2 bans per player. and even then youre lucky if you get the ad assassins out

URF will always be more fun than ARURF, which some hypocrites here claim to be the superior of the two.
