Season 10: Please nerf ranged top laners for good, it's been enough

It's been far too long for this meta to live, it's just so unfun to play against champions that poke you until you die right from lv1, back in the days it was and maybe , but now I feel like if you literally pick ANY ranged champion into melee you are all good, it's laughable how easy and free they are to play.

When mages took over bot lane last season you fixed it in a matter of a MONTH, we've been dealing with ranged top laners for year and something now.

But don't you know? When Mages go bot it's bad, but when Ranged champs go top it's "Champion Diversity".

In all seriousness, have you thought about picking up Yorick Yorick or Urgot Urgot ? In a manner of speaking, Yorick has range of his own (His Ghouls, provided you can land the Skillshot E and have Graves built up beforehand) and Urgot IS Ranged (Much less than the ones you list, as they are 550 or 500 in the case of Teemo, and Urgot's is 350). Granted it's not a be-all end-all, but you CAN beat them with the two, as long as you play your cards right.

They still haven't really fixed mages bot. Lux and Brand are both still extremely strong down here.

I think we need a starter item kinda like the guardian item in aram. Extra healing per 5 and gives flat damage reduction. Make it melee only and bam ranged top laners no more. The thing is they can still abuse klepto, which tbh should be removed.

It seems like the preseason is going to be focused on map changes, adjusting objectives and jungle pathing.

A good way to indirectly nerf ranged top laners would be to make it easier to gank top. Ranged top laners are generally vulnerable to ganks, so encouraging the jungler to be there in the laning phase would make it harder to play a ranged champion and easier to play tanks. Combine that with a worthwhile early game objective top, and ranged top laners can't be nearly as aggressive.

Honestly, the only people that complain more than adcs, are melee top players. Which is saying something.
