Eve is getting screwed over this patch and next patch.

With nerfed and with getting nerfed, I think its time to buff a little eve to hold her over till her rework. I don't think she will be able to wait for her rework unless its in jan or feb. The protobelt nerf alone dropped her winrate down by like 3% for protobelt users, so imagine with rylais is going to do to her next patch. Rylais has been core on AP eve for as long as the item existed.

Would love to see simple compensation buffs that revert older nerfs honestly. Or extra minion and monster damage on her Q even.

Lol ive never seen a good player build rylais on eve before. Eve is fine. Started playing her a bunch last season into this season have a 70% win rate in 30 games with a 6 kda in diamond lol. Eves actually been broken af even with the protobelt nerf its not that bad.

If not a troll then you are just inexperienced. Rylais is too good on eve, so good that a ghosted + E hecarim can't get away from her unless he ults.

But I'm going to assume this is bait since you are not posting on your actual main.

gold 4* and climbing. 70% winrate, over 200 games, and 3.34 KDA last season on eve. If you look at my stats I fuck around with numerous other champions with autofill and when I feel that I'm descending to low because of that I hop on eve and start climbing. Either way, that's beside the point.

Rylais is a core item on AP eve.

She is very versatile actually. She can be built as either, or even as AD which I use to do often and still do occasionally. But in all the builds, AD eve is the only playstyle that doesn't have rylai as a item in the build path.

It is listed as a core item because it has high AP stats and health. I'm not entirely sure how important the passive has been, since that only matters if you aren't playing assassin.

Are they dropping the AP and health on the item? I thought it was just the passive that was getting nerfed.

they are nerfing everything on it, AP, HP, passive, but they are decreasing the cost.

Uh huh and you were silver 2 which means you climbed from a way lower elo which should be extremely easy lol. And now being only gold 5 in promos (which means nothing gold 5 is gold 5 is bad bad bad) while playing an extremely easy carry champion just shows you THINK you know what you are talking about but you dont. I literally die 2x less than you on average per game with more kills lol 6.09 kda. And thats in diamond where they arent gold and silver players. Even if you only played eve on 1 account you wouldnt get higher than plat 5 because you actually dont know what you are doing. Sincerely someone who actually knows how to play eve.

Why would I care I dont like the boards very much and just come every so often to try to explain or help the players that were like me when Im bored. Someone just like me opened my eyes and I doubled if not tripled how good I was so I feel obligated to give back. Even if riot makes it so I can never go on the boards again it really wont effect much. Hell riot use reddit more than their own boards for a reason.

So because I use to call low elo players like you that are hard stuck after years and millions of games "retards" for being ignorant and dicks about it that makes it so me the higher elo player with better stats win rates less games played is wrong and that "your point has been proven" if not its the opposite it proves you are nothing more than an ignorant low elo player that cant even play the champion they spend the most time on. She does seem to be suffering a little. Every jungler who can use colossus well is doing fine, everyone who cant is suffering a bit.

The nerf to rylais will mean less hp and a weaker lategame, but it will come earlier, the permaslow should be just as good, and she will get it earlier. I suspect it may lead to the ressurgence of gunblade, and of tanky bruiser builds; it's possible that the new gunblade buffs might see AD eve make a comeback, especially if the meta gets tanky.

She has such a diversity of builds that they skip around a lot. S5 i was running Bork and IBG into tanky on her, and back then it was quite solid, before those items were nerfed and before the introduction of the new AP jungle item and its splash (and rylais synergy).

I'm not sure protobelt is optimal on her anymore, but it's anyones guess in the new season jungle. She probably needs compensation for having no colossus proc, as this makes it much harder to duel a collossus user that you catch out in the jungle.

I'm thinking a lot about what you said and it kind of makes sense. One directional updates have been making those two items very situational now. Since the ratios are going down on those two items seems like teams with heavy burst and hard control have higher end advantages over the item combination. Mercurial Scimitar or even just Quick Silver Sash are handy with these cores for CC mitigation, sustain, sticking to a departing target, or just that extra safety net. It's a lot of fun running through Event Horizon at super speed towards a fed Veigar like Superman from Earth One.

But yes, it feels like we just keep getting weaker while others just keep getting stronger. What I wouldn't give to be able to beat Akali again.

The item 3152 nerfs aren't that bad and item 3116 hasn't been a core item since became a thing, as it was expensive AF. Eve is fine rn tbh. Not too strong, but not too weak either.
