no a champion with an aoe zoning tool that stuns for 2+ seconds and an aoe nuke while also having a point and click excute that works litterally fro 60% hp is fine because you know he is immobile. too bad you cant move when you are dead.

I think his Event Horizon doesn't offer enough counter-play given how long you are stunned. It's pretty much a guaranteed wipe if you get caught in it, and .75 second activation isn't enough time to get away without a flash.

In a 1v1 it's plenty of time. It's very rare for a Veigar to land that stun while laning unless the enemy is slowed or caught in the middle of an animation.

Admittedly it's harder to avoid the the middle of a team fight, or when he has allies near by to follow up.

He doesn't begin broken. If you let him get broken, that's more your fault than his.

In other words, you know exactly what Veigar is going to/trying to do. Don't just stand there and let him.

We can't give you what you deny yourself. You do have time to make a decision if he's trying to gate you.

Avoid it all together. Flash or move away from the target area.
Move inside the gate and attempt to dance. More dangerous but often a viable choice.
Bend over and take it. Just stand there and let yourself die.

I will only mention Veigar's oppressive cooldown times that exist to punish him for missing, but you need to learn to anticipate when/where/why the Veigar will make his attempt. If you give him enough easy chances, he will get you. The same goes for other champions with gnarly ways of boning you. Morgana, Blitzcrank, Thresh, ect.

E isn't that hard to dodge unless he flashed or has a jungler presence to force you a certain way.
W is still side steppable within the E unelss you got stunned already.
His ult deals more damage the lower you are. If you see him hitting 6 soon and you have low health, you should consider backing or play under tower.

I don't think a Q-R combo can kill you from full health at level 6. Unless you are one of those players that don't take MR into veigars....

Thats not rue at all, except for the MR thing. Good Veigar Players place the E in a way that there is no other way than walking into it, and they wont let u see when they will do their E. ALso the W covers nearly 75% of the walkable Space in the W and many many players are running into the Stun if they try to sidestep the W. And yes, you can oneshot someone at level 6 with Q+R, but only if there are 0 Health items and 0 MR in runes and items.

Anytime Veigar's about to drop his E, it's pretty obvious because he starts walking towards you, you can bait it out. The only way I see this being a problem is simply because he could tell you were trying to attack him.

It's not like old Veigar where he just dropped the wall and that was it, you were instantly boned. For him to successfully land his E, the following criteria needs to be met:

You were predictably close (this means at any point his E was in range to be used and you stayed in one area too long)
You got caught
You blindly chased into him (again, it's fairly obvious when someone wants to go in)

What makes him strong is that he gets free AP for landing skillshots. He's really punishing to players with a one track mind in terms of character movement, you have to bait out his stun and go ham; he has no escape.
