Laning Position.. Items bought No auto attacks to help the ADC in the early game Either feeding or have max health, literally baiting the ADC Poor champion picked depending on enemy and team's team composition.

Please remove auto-fill We don't need Yasuo mains playing support, or 1 tricks of OP champions that can't play support. It's fucking up matchmaking.

Please understand that Gold and above is usually gained by 1 tricking a lane or abusing a certain champ. Example

Even in the top lane, I've been seeing a constant stream of noobs queuing top Ryze when I get mid (obviously they auto-fill top)

They'll lock in ryze even if we have a full AP team, lose lane, lose tower firstblood because they are laning up against other 1 trick mains in the top lane.

GOLD+ This is the top 20% of players Gold 3 is top 15% Plat is 10%

Mainly consisted of players that can only play one lane.

I climbed with Vel'koz support and got to Gold 3 with Lulu 4000 normal games played and almost at 500 games in ranked

So I'm curious...... What support items have you been buying on Vel Koz? What is the wrong items on Vel Koz, pray tell?

And ..... so you're rather wait 6 minutes on a Queue than have 30-40 second waits on starting a game? And worse as you climb? Before Autofill, you had 30-40 minute queues to get into a Diamond I game.... And those could get dodged too....

People in gold don't suck at support, and playing safe in gold is actually far more of a winning strategy than poking. You can't always counter pick your opponents, and in Gold, there are plenty of players who will take your poke and hand you back a death. They are waiting for the eventual harass. They aren't the silver "I'd rather run than fight" crowd. They know that sometimes, trading is the favorable solution, especially if that poke = 15% of health while you can give back 40% (Vayne, Jhin).

You play a sit back and spam champ with low mana costs and cooldowns that is hard to reach to poke. You aren't playing champs that have 550 attack range and a limited amount of poke/heals/damage skills.
