Am I missing something....

....or did a vast majority of junglers right now got an "I MUST SOLO CARRY" fever?

It's more than 5 junglers I see in the past week or so that simply refuses to gank, only tries clean up ganks, AFK farms all game, tries to get every kill then goes back to farm, and 2 of them even stated that they "can't afford to let us have kills, because if they do, we will feed the gold to the enemy and they won't be able to solo carry". Most of the time it's either me or a friend in the jungle.

Like, I'm sorry? Look, I get it, if you're playing Evelynn you're not the best pre 6 ganker, and it's ok, but don't go saying you won't ever gank until we're dead just so there's no risk for us to "steal your kill".

2 Eve, 1 WW and 1 Kayn are a few of I've had in the past bunch days do this. We asked the Kayn to go Red because they had 3 tanks (well, 2 tanks and Aatrox), he refused, saying that "Red is support, I need kills to carry", then does nothing. WW is one of the two saying he can't allow us to have kills, and he never tried to gank either. If one of us was ganked, he would wait in a bush near our lane until we died, then go in.

Last game I just had was an Evelynn doing pretty much the same. Yea, she got a lot of kills, she farmed, but never helped. She only properly ganked bot lane, as she was duo with Cait, for me on mid or Swain on top on the other hand? She wouldn't help. I get dove, thankfully I have River element so I root Jax under the tower, he dies, Evelynn did barely any damage, then pings me with question marks and asks me why "I stole her kill?" Excuse me?

I get it, I know I made a thread not too long ago where I did say that a big part of why jungle is a bad place is the other 4 team mates, but I also said that YOU need to help the team, not just blame them when they can't do anything. Don't ping me why I didn't help you when everything I had was on cooldown and tell me that "Qiyana doesn't have cooldowns" after I just threw a River Q trying to save you and you go back in.

Yes, I'm pissed, it's the 6th game in a row where I'm mid and camped to hell and back (just last game I got ganked 4 times in the 1st 5 minutes by Jax, 6 if we count the ones where I didn't die or use Flash), dove under tower because they can, while my jungler is jerking off in a bush flaming how "I die 1v1", but what's the damn reason for this sudden change? Not 2 weeks ago, the junglers I've had were chill and helpful, and now they act worse than Yasuo mains.

The jungle really sucks right now. I used to be a jungle main but now I ask out of the role as often as I can. Many junglers have to spend much more time farming to stay even relatively close to the solo laners' level, and as a result are able to help less during laning phase - I say "many" because there are still a few who can level 2 gank, and those are the only ones people still say are viable to play. It all sucks.

That being said, it just sounds like you got rotten matchmaking luck with a few larger-than-average douchebags.

Eh, being honest, I'm ok with jungling myself, and I know there are times and champions where even if you'd want to help you can't, and I'm ok when that happens and I'm the laner and I don't get the gank, it's cool, but when it's the norm for a jungler not to gank....

My fav was a J4 quite a while ago, he was 0-0-0 at 15 mins, all lanes losing, he tells us "just hold on 5 more mins, I just need to complete one more item and then I'll start ganking". No surprise we lost that one, and of course he was the typical "gg, no team" type.

I'm used to being camped, that's kinda why I stopped playing Akali, tho now I'm trying to pick her up again. Most of my mastery is on the old Akali (around 300k of the 340k I have now), but well, the opponents can't know that, so I get hard camped. I think there was just 1 game since her release where I didn't got camped by the enemy jungler, but at least when the enemy is a free kill, the ally jungler should help. Junglers like these are why I started playing jungle myself back in S8. If I can't have a good jungler, I'll be the good jungler and win that way.

It all depends on how other lanes are doing. I've been a Shaco main for years, but in the current jungle he has to farm much more than most people are willing to put up with so I've been playing more Ivern lately to apply more consistent lane pressure. Even as Ivern though, there are always games where someone cries about not getting enough ganks or throws the ultimate "gg better jung wins" line that everyone loves.

If they find a way to buff the jungle without blowing it out of proportion I think it'll solve a lot of problems.

Junglers seem to have a superiority complex and we should be lucky if they bless our lane with their presence.

Yea, "having no jungler" is a running gag between me and my friends now when neither of us is the jungler, as almost always we get the bad ones, but at least they used to try, like, ok, you tried a gank and died for it, at least you tried, recently they refuse to gank unless we're dead and they can get the kill.

Tell me about it.....ADC players are something special themselves, especially the Kai'sa players. Gosh, I lost count on how many I lost because Kai'sa and party members (if any) simply refused to play and help because she's not the one who's carrying. Better lose and blame the team than accept you're not the match MVP but still scored a win I guess....

Can't say much about top lane, as it's almost exclusively someone from my party there, Shun loves to go top, so I can't say about him.

Mid are all sort of salads, so to put it, from apples to "potatoes".

Supports....wish Stargazer would come back to LoL, can never go wrong with him on support.

Don't get me wrong I have had my fair share of what am i even doing moments. However I have noticed the blame typically falls on the jungler so that may be a reason some junglers have the need to carry mentality.
Also I hate duos for that exact reason they refuse to help anyone else but the person they are grouped with.

I did say "recently", so yes, I know that not all junglers are like that, I even stated at the end of the OP that it's something recent, as before, the random junglers were ok, mostly being the ones helping to win the games.

Also, it's mid that I play when not in the jungle, rarely top.

I know some people don't know how to jungle, we all have lanes we can't play, and that's ok, but when they go with "I can't let you have any kills because you'll feed", that's clearly not a case of not knowing how to jungle.

A bad game is a bad game, we all have them, I'm no exception and no matter the match, I know I could've played my lane slightly better, but can't say blaming the jungler when intentionally refusing to help, just going for kills then blaming you for losing a 2v1 lane is unwarranted.

I don't know...whenever i play jungle i make it a habit to gank lanes because farming jungle monsters is kind of boring. I tend to play Amumu so i can have a strong gank.
