Why did renekton laning get nerfed when hes not even good?

You weren't here for season 3 when top lane was Renekton's lane were you?
its 5 and renektons place has been taken
its 5 and renektons place has been taken
So it would be ok for Renekton to be top dog, but not Gnar?
Gnar was there in season 4, it's time for another champ to be at the top of the lane-chain. Let's nerf him into oblivion while, err,
becomes the new meta. Yeah.
So it would be ok for Renekton to be top dog, but not Gnar?
because nobody should be top dog
because nobody should be top dog
You are right, no one should be, but you and I know both know that is literally impossible.
Yey, yet another SIlver IV player whining about Gnar. Seriously, learn to dodge skillshots and - no offense if you are colorblind- read a good damn gauge.
Red = wall hugging is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad White = Gnar no ultimate, no killthreat, get him
Seriously, Gnar has become such a horrible laner I don't understand why so many people stillQQ about him... Have you seen yesterdays LCS? Gnar got wrecked in lane continiously.
It's not the champion, it's people who can neither dodge skillshots nor know what tactical aggression is.
I'm convinced at this point that people are just mad that he's a dedicated ranged top-laner. Unless we're teamfighting in the jungle because of whatever circumstance, I'm honestly never worried about Gnar. Even in lane, if I get put into top-lane, I tend to prefer playing Fiora so Gnar isn't even a problem in the laning phase. I think people are really just upset that they can't always be melee up top, as if that was always some sort of treehouse with a sign on it that reads "Melee only - no ranged allowed!"
I guess you are right. I have NEVER lost my lane against a Gnar which is ironical enough. (The last Gnar I faced left his lane with 1/6).
I think it's just that so many people have never played the champion himself. Once you do and udnerstand his mechnics he becomes a VERY easy lineup for many picks (even meele).
But yea, it does take some tactical insight and mechnical skill to beat him. (See a chance to be agressive and use it, guess where he's about to catch his Boomerang and hit him right in the face with a skillshot. Don't get baited when he's low health but close to full rage etc... Remember to NOT wallhug when his rage bar is red....)
Playing against Gnar requires some insight in League of Legends itself which less experienced players lack, thus making him a good "noobstomper" in lane.
