It would be nice if there was actually a counterplay to sorakas silence rather than

hoping she misplaces it. She is already annoying to deal with so why does her silence needs to have 0 counterplay if she gets into the range of it?

Walking out of it?

Admittedly hard to do if it's used as follow-up CC, but that's isn't really an issue unique to Equinox.

Lets pretend that teams doesnt exist and there is no such thing as cc while you are sileneced :^)

that argument could be used for any cc combo, the problem with soraka is her lane sustain on both herself and the adc

You just walk out of the silence. If teamfight CC is why you can't well that's not on Soraka but the enemy team. There's counterplay to the ability, her team just makes it harder for you to do that.

It's the same logic behind Yasuo tornados when he's on a team with Malphite Janna Sion or anyone with reliable knock ups. There is counterplay, but the enemy team is build to minimize it.

That's an example of teamwork.

I wish Riot would just delete her. Shes more annoying to deal with than Yasuo. AOE silence, AOE snare, and on top of that she literally has infinite healing. Never seen so much bull shit in 1 kit before.

Its probably the shortest real silence in the game, since Cho and Malzahar both have like 3 second silences and the rest are interrupts I believe.

I think Blitzcrank still has a 0.5 second silence, but that's about the only one shorter that I can think of.

I thought of that after I posted. It's more of an interrupt given the short time frame but if we want to consider it a full blown silence then he does win out. My point still stands that her silence is never going to be 3 seconds long though.
