Look, when I make an argument, I try to avoid at all costs any form of "You main this" and "You're just a x hater" bullshit but I'm going to do it right now because it's sickening. Look, I respect the fact you don't like windman, but if you seriously need to get those ideas out of your head and you clearly have 0 idea of how broken aatrox already is and would be if he untargetable.

First off, making Aatrox untargetable during his Q is basically giving him a mini malphite ult on a ~14 seconds cooldown. That. is. not. a.fucking. good. idea. It's retarded as shit and forces you to nuke other parts of his kit because of this. It's directly removing counterplay. A good change would to make it more rewarding to land, or increase the animation speed so a mordekaiser on 500 pings can't dodge it without any problems.

Second off, with old sion's ult, it makes aatroxes towerdives even stronger than before for no reason and makes it impossible to stop him in a 1v1 without CC. It's simply not a good idea and doesn't fit his theme. Aatrox didn't heal people, he inspired them to go ham.

You dont need to necessaraly make him untargetable, but maybe at least immune to cc for that duration, or at least make it not interruptable. Considering that Riot is alright with the idea of fizz troll pole, this should not be such a bad idea either.

And again, aatrox towerdives? Does anyone play him anymore? I play him on jungle sometimes, and believe me, he is not good. Even on lane, especially in current meta, he is not good. For you to even think about a towerdive, you have to snowball hard. It would at least make aatrox threathening, because currently, he is not in any way a consideration for the enemy team unless fed (Which applies to every champ).

Maybe not direct Sions ult, but someting simmilar, maybe again, like you said, involving giving the team damage. Its just that, until his rework comes (Like 5 years after) he will be kept shit, and i dont like that, i would like Riot to at least try to balance him and to make him better and not keep him at trash level for 5 years.

Look, I don't like the fact they dumpster'd aatrox neither. But peple need to realize that aatrox's playstyle is all around revolving statcheck and unless aatrox's heal is no longer useful in a 1v1 there is simply no way riot can buff the other parts of his kit without nuking his Q/E/R. His passive is a problem too, it isn't very useful on him (And makes his entire kit clunky af and base stats talon levels of low to compensate).

As a once main and Mastery 7 player, his Q is the worst part of his kit and ruins his play because of how unforgiving it can be. The epicenter is too small for the knockup and it's extremely easy to miss given how much mobility has evolved since his release. That being said, Untargetability during Dark Flight would be stupid as all hell.

His Q simply needs a duration where it can't be displaced, mostly when he's winding up at the peak of the animation. Any form of displacement ruins the ability so much, mostly because of the long wind-up and that Aatrox is a seriously outdated champion compared to other Divers/Bruisers. You can make mistakes more often with others, but if you screw up Aatrox's Q, you lose whatever fight you were going to initiate/disengage.

And Sion's old ultimate was dumped for being an unhealthy mechanic (an AURA mechanic, to say the least). It's a lazy suggestion and it drives me insane when I see people casually upvote it because they won't come up with anything better.

I remember a while ago when Not Dominion was up there was an Aatrox on the enemy team. He tried to E-Slow me and then knock me up. I remember just casually turning around the opposite direction after he started his Q, completely ignoring it, flinging a spell at him after he landed, and leaving. I felt really bad for him right there.

No, he can be unstoppable under certain conditions but making him untargetable is plain stupid. He isn't a nimble fighter, he jumps in your face and DGAFS.

Instead of untargetability, they should make his q give you a steroid on hit, so if you do successfully land it you get something like %attack speed for number of champions hit , or bonus lifesteal on champions damaged by your q for x seconds, or if you hit an enemy champion your next attack against them does bonus damage and heals you for a % of their max how or something, make it interesting and satisfying to land, since it's so damn difficult

Oh I'm sorry I'll just simply stop caring about the state of balance of champions I don't consistently play. X Champion might have a 10% winrate, but he has a <1% pickrate and I don't play him so I'm not allowed to talk! Even if Riot decides to nerf him more I shouldn't say anything because I don't play him and obviously that means I shouldn't complain about his state of balance!

Are you dumb? Karthus was one of the 2 most played midlaner in season 2 with anivia, his popularity was like 15%, you can find so much karthus videos made in season 2. Riot nerfed his ulti and his wall a thousand time, if they didn't nerf his wall in season 3 he would have been played as a support. Then what happened? assassins happened in season 3/4, and better midlaner options appeared like Lissandra (for instance) in the next seasons . you must be extremely blind if you think that karthus can compete against reworked Viktor Cassiopeia or Ryze now, his late game used to be so scarry, now all those mages have the same late game and brings far better utility "karthus has his ulti which is a global presence" good luck having your global presence with 200 seconds cooldown, and champions/items countering by 100% your ulti.

gosh those people. If you think that people aren't attracted by karthus, then they wouldn't do those threads.

We don't trust him because he made some really obnoxious, but at the time fun to play kits. We, and this is just as a morde player, don't trust him because he ignored every suggestion we made to try and at least make it look like they were going to follow through on their agreement that they wouldn't completely eliminate solo lane morde. It took until four people all posted in the request thread near the end of season 6's preseason to get any follow up on rebalancing his tin can from the gutter they left him in after worlds to a somewhat more playable state after months of silence and daily Malicious Metal threads.

My theory is that, deep down, we're all truly miserable creatures. We have been cursed with liking a champion no one else likes, a champion Riot deems toxic, and forever downtrodden with being good at a champion who isn't even remotely good. For those resaons, we spend time on the boards rather than playing and being reminded of the filth that we are.

I awake every morning with bloodshot eyes, an emotionless face, wondering why oh god why do I play mordekaiser. The word "<1% playrate" rings through my mind like a bee buzzing. With little or no feelings at all, I walk to my computer, sit down, and robotically que up and click that metal man, see his terrifying face and weep. Then, in my depression I come here, to vent with people of my kind, people that understand me, people that want to help me.

We'd rather whiter away in silence than by playing league of legends.

It's a satirical post meant to be taken as a joke and laughed at.

But, Riot has stated his kit is toxic because he was meant to be played bot lane, but that only ever worked out if he was completely overpowered and made the enemy team miserable.

I play mordekaiser because I'm good at it and I like the champion. After the season ends, I plan to expand my champion pool again, but I don't have the time nor patience at the moment.

The term is "vocal Minority".

People who have nothing to say have no reason to post. People with complaints or concerns are more likely to post. You also have to remember the size of the LoL player base. 1% could still be about a thousand people. Assuming 1% of them use the forums, that makes 100 Karthus players that have reason to voice a concern.

Funny how often people forget that the LoL Forums (and Reddit) is not the whole or even always representative of the play base.

Been a while since I saw Karthus, but who cares? Slowass Skelethor doesn't even have mobility tools like sexgod straight out of the hood criminal mastermind time rewinder expert Ekko. We're going for the world record guys, the champion with lowest pickrate in the history of LoL. Once that 2.5 Spellshield channel item is out, Karthus pickrate will go down by at least another 0.1%!
