I know this is the complete opposite of every post in the past month about assassins being weak. However, I really don't see much of an issue. The only real problem I have is that some assassin kits feel lackluster like before and the rework did nothing. I still have success with assassins. Especially Zed. I think what interests me more than anything about this rework is the separation of good assassins players and bad. I find it harder to get a kill but it is so much more rewarding to me at least after I just outplay the shit out of someone :)

All the assassins are actually really good right now, don't know why people would say that they are weak.But the only one I hate having in my team are Zeds since they are pretty much useless.The only part where zed actually isn't weak is early game and sometimes mid game if the enemy mage didn't buy a zhonya and the adc's support is dumb.

Or your zed still has the old mentality of going in 1v5 with deathmark thinking they can get the kill lmfao.

IMO I think Talon is really good, but he feels weird because you really have to be in melee range to do some decent damage with his Q.

MY Zed is nonexistent, I don't and will never play that champion since it's simply garbage.I'm talking about what I see to other Zeds in both my team and enemy, even if they get fed in early they end up being completely useless.

YOu can have success. just not as consistently. Not as often, and your lategame is shit unless you're extremely fed.

I highly doubt the silver and bronze make up of this board collectively agreed that assassins were weak before the update.

I agree actually, for Talon of all assassins - one of the most unappreciated on the boards. Tried him once last week, and I've been spamming him ever since, getting fed 4/5 games. I love the way his kit works with his passive and the combos it creates, and how his passive/Ignite is a death sentence for...well, anybody but a tank. I also love how his ult isn't a core part of his damage, and instead an AoE/survivability tool for teamfights. And his E just makes EVERYTHING better, fuck the people who don't understand it.

Also, as far as I've seen, Katarina, Zed, Leblanc, Rengar, Kha'zix, and even Fizz (though mostly because of his gimmicky ult) are all in good spots. I'd say the assassin rework was a huge success. Only thing that might be masking that success is Redemption/Locket, which are a little too much at times if the support/adc are fed.

Kat is honestly of the worst reworks they have ever done all he damage is in her blade and if enemy laner is smart they just walk away from in. Not to mention they made her already poor laning phase even worse. Lb is now more of a mage than assassin, fizz is useless with out his ult and I have seen enough of kha, rengar or shaco to make any calls on them

his elo is bronze ofc he is having success on assassins i didn't even bother to reply to his post.

the problems i have is talons late game how. whent 15/3 early to mid game. had soooo much struggle late game to do somthing it feels like he is a walking ward late game.

honestly there is no reason to play assassins any more. I just go lux now she can 100-0 any squishy late game she can peel if she falls behind and she has one of the safest laning phases out of all champs. And she can do all of that while being no where near the enemy

If you got that fed that early and let the game go late, you already failed. On top of that, Talon's damage actually scales pretty well between his passive and Q (especially with IE), and his ult comes out to a 36s cooldown late game, which is great for faking assassination attempts and engages/baiting summoners/etc. His mobility even lets him split push to a degree. But if you played the old easy mode Talon, I can see why you'd have trouble utilizing these things.

Lol, he doesn't need to be fed. On average farm, he's perfectly capable of assassinating any carry if he pulls off his ult and passive. Just because he's not any easy mode Champ anymore doesn't mean he's worse. Same goes for Katarina. Also, any carry is safe if their entire team focuses on protecting them, but the idea is to wait for an opportunity and go in when they're distracted, not throw yourself at them head on and get away with it. This was a huge goal of the assassin rework that I can't believe people aren't understanding.

Some assassins might be under tuned, but Talon and Katarina are by no means useless. If you think so, it's because you haven't bothered to play them.

Assassin main. I get fed a lot. However now I'm considering quitting league because being fed on Talon is basically the same as being 0/0/0 come 30 minutes. Success means nothing if your champions limit for success is fry cook and the champions they are facing get to be billionaires.
