Having a high KDA doesn't mean you can't lose your team the game

Just because you go 11/0 in lane doesn't mean you can't be responsible at all for the loss. Yeah, you might end the game 11/3/2, but the fact that you went 1 for 1 every teamfight while eating all the sidelane farm, jungle camps, and kills means you are a huge reason your team lost the game, not just your 0/6/5 mid laner.

Like for example: just a few games ago I was playing Morgana support, and our whole team was feeding and bot lane was pretty much the only reason our team got back into the game.

Yes, we got 4 manned 3 times before 10 minutes. Yes, the game might've been easier if our mid or jungle had pressure. However, we started to make a huge comback off some really good picks and teamfighting.

While the momentum was in our favor, I saw Akali top lane, and we were fighting around drake (elder?). I flash in to get a 4 man morg ulti, and their whole team literally just flashes forward and kills everyone on my team and I'm not in position to peel or use locket. Akali got back from base faster than I thought and cleaned up our team.

Could I blame the mid/jungle/top for feeding? Sure. But in the end even though I was probably the best performing member for like 35 minutes, I single-handedly lost the game.

Exactly. A month or 2 back I had a Warwick who hardcore invaded the enemy Vi, killed her a few times with help from the top laner and myself. She was level 2 when he was level 5. The enemy team managed to hang in there and caught Warwick multiple times in the mid to late game when he tried to solo kill Vi or invade her camps and eventually they won the game. Warwick was the reason we got a massive lead and was a big part of why we threw the game.

Having the best KDA means you are the one that threw the game if you lose. So many people do not build right when they're snowballing. Some cases though are still just your team being bad. I had a game where i went. 24-3-4 as Master Yi and my team was actually useless. We had a Fiora top that TP'd bot to split push while 3 were dead and i was soloing Elder. The other team's Tryn got 2 twrs and an inhib. Fiora blamed me when she was RIGHT THERE and decided to not defend. Later in the game i got FNATIC bushed (walk into the small bush in the river to all 5 enemies) and of course i died. The rest of my team went in one by one and got aced when they should have just warded Baron and waited for me. Some you just cannot win.

Can't say much about League, but I have lost many a dota 2 game where my team was ahead in kills. Kills , mean nothing if you cannot press the advantage. In the end what truly matters is who gets towers and who gets nexus

That depends, if your team is so bad that your 5-0 score is overshadowed by an enemy 7-0 score, or two enemies with 5-0 scores then your team has already dropped the ball too hard for your score to mean much.
