You can't just ask to "remove" a certain interaction of an item to a certain champion man, that's not how things work. You can't just ask Riot to make it so Cho'Gath can't use Gargoyles dude

guaranteed he would still buy this item if it didn't double his ult's damage

CrabPeopleReform1 votes

yeah this item shouldn't double his ulti damage

with him pressing stone plate he can litteraly oneshot anyone who is not a tank at full health i mean his ulti damage should be reduced by stoneplate active

Better to clarify that in the thread dude Either way, his health gain should remain. His damage boost from it is up to debate for sure

that seems fair. convert his ult damage to magic damage so it's susceptible to the damage reduction and keep the interaction.

His E is way too overturned and they should of never removed his stack loss.

His E is way too overturned

Yeah, probably, and they are indeed nerfing it next patch.

and they should of never removed his stack loss.

That's the only reason is played at all. Without keeping his stacks, he's simply not competitively viable. And I mean SoloQ, not Pro-play.

what they did was they removed his largest weakness. the ability to be shut down. they then did nothing to trim off his massively overtuned strengths.

His biggest weakness should be the fact that you can dodge his Q and W and that his R is melee range. You should be able to kite a Cho'Gath to hell and back, no matter how strong he is.

Him dying once post 25 minutes should not mean he is useless for the rest of the game, and that's not what people mean when they say you "shut down" an opponent. They mean you consistently killed them many times during laning phase. And Cho will still be not great if you actually do that, even after keeping his stacks.

lemme understand something right now.

his biggest weakness

is that his q and w skillshots

are dodgeable..... my brother let me introduce you to this little game called league where most skillshots are possible to dodge due to their non targeted nature.

My friend, let me introduce you to two different kinds of skill shots.

Line skill shot, compared to AoE skill shot.

A line skill shot has the possibility to only be dodge into two directions, to the side of wherever it was initially fired at.

An AoE skill shot has the possibility to be dodge by moving in ANY direction.

Which seems easier to dodge, and which does Cho'Gath use.

Hint, the answer to both those questions are the same answer.

AmetDeCrypt1 votes

ah so now it's easy to dodge not just dodgeable ok. circle skillshots are definitely harder to hit. but when you look at it that doesn't make them the champion's biggest weakness. cho'gath's w (cone btw) and q are very large, and anyone under yi levels of movement speed isn't going to be walking out of them if he hits in range.
