Been thinking about LeBlanc and Zed

Not in a perverted way. They both do high damage in a mid-close range, have limited cc,and are supposed to be shut down by item 3102 and they will leave you for dead in 3 seconds . However, their mobility is unmatched in that they can basically cross the lane and get back safely. "Just land some CC then". Lets see, their moblity is literally instant so skillshots are not viable. While they are a case on their own,Zed can sustain himself back up if you do manage to hit him. Theres also the fact that even though he is melee,he can outrange you with his W+2Qs. He can also,as i mentioned before ,turret dive you from a mile away due to his invulnerability in his ultimate, and, get way away with it. Also his key items are armor penetration and anti tank items. So you can't duel him,you can't outrange him,you can't outsustain him,you can't catch him and you sure as hell can't dive him. Balanced?

I played a game yesterday where my allied Kassadin completely wrecked the enemy Zed (and it was a good Zed, they both got fed, both had over 20 kills and under 10 deaths). Any time Kassadin found Zed late game, Zed would try to start the 1v1 and between Zhonya's and Kassadin's ultimate he'd kill Zed with over 2/3 health left after each engage.

My main mid laner is Ahri, I find in both of these matches it comes down to this: can Zed/LB cast their damage and escape faster, or can I cast charm before they finish their combo and move out? Most of the time I hit the charm first, meaning I get off my full combo for more damage than they dealt when they engaged (although if I miss I suffer a lot more, and the most recent game the LeBlanc realized I was landing all the charms when she dove, so she dove when her Jungler was present and he cleaned me up after I charmed her).

Anyways, I agree with the point here, that both are incredibly frustrating to play against because they have an IN AND AN OUT on the same move (no cooldown between). It feels like the only way to give them a meaningful weakness would be to put a cooldown of even 0.5-1 seconds on moving back out. Give us guaranteed time to land CC so a good player (or one using scripts) can't finish the combo and get out before our ping even lets us see that they came in...

Wow another Zed and Leblanc QQ thread. They're both assasins which means they're supposed to win 1v1 fights. If item 3102 is not enough you can still buy item 3157 and use it in the middle of their combos.

If i even buy those items and use it they will just W+R back to safety have you even read anything?

If you buy those items they shouldn't be able to kill you. If they can't kill you, they can't do their jobs - they're useless. If they're useless then what's the problem?

If they force my ADC and APC to build both Zhonyas and Banshees just to not die then how does that make them useless?

Leblanc's CDs are a lot lower than that of Zhonyas so it doesn't really help.

Use wards and protect your carries. LB's problem is that she can't really build too much defensive items (atleast if she wants to burst anyone) so after CC'ing her it's pretty easy to take her down. Her another problem is that she has to use her Distortion [W] which is her only escape to get close to her target. If she tries to juke you, don't chase her by whole team but send someone to wait for her on her Distortion mark.

There are some champions that are unable to lane against LeBlanc. Just as there are some champions LeBlanc is unable to lane against. She has absolutely no sustain. No defensive stats whatsoever. In order to do nearly every combo she has, she has to distortion in virtually on top of you. That is a huge exploit. At that point not only is she in range of enemy abilities and easily CCed or blown up, she also leaves behind a visible origin point that she must go back to if she reactivates distortion. Another major exploit. Yes, she is very mobile but her mobility is used to get to you in the first place.

Keep in mind that any high damage champion allowed to get off their full combo will likely kill you unless you are a tank. It only makes sense that an assassin with poor team fighting abilities would be good at and win 1v1's.
