Why do minions snowball as well?

The minion auto push thing they implemented in season 6 is one of the reasons why the game is so snowbally. It removes any from of side wave counterplay because every wave will push to you. This means the enemy will always have uncontested access to objectives and even your jungle and snowball even more. You can't push the enemy turrets to try to get some global gold. The only thing you can do is wait until 40 min when the gold finally equalizes. Minion wave management means nothing when the enemy minions are 35% stronger than our minions because the sum of the enemy team levels is 4 more than our team levels.

This actually helps a behind team more. The enemy minions auto-push towards you, so that you don't have to go out into enemy territory to farm. Meanwhile the team ahead does have to push into the dark

Well done Krol. You beat me to it. Yes its to prevent lanes from being frozen when they are lost and further deny you the ability to cs. it allows more opportunity's to close the gold gap when your playing from behind.

Too bad it just screws the losing team even harder cause the enemy minions will be hard shoving any time you try to roam towards fights

Exactly, the gold you get from having more minion is less than the enemy gets from having uncontested objective access.

Actually there is no objective on the map worth more than 1 cannon wave gold wise on 1 person So even if the enemy may get 2 waves woth of gold it will be spread across their team unlike Adcs and mages on the losing team who will have the easiest time farming multiple waves of farm while junglers bruisers supports and tanks wont hardly get anything.

I think the main issue here is that alot of players don't know how to control a wave. If you just walk to a lane and clear the wave, the lane will come back pushing at you straight away since the minions on your side already took damage.

You actually have to clear enough minions so that there are fewer left for the enemies wave and then your lane will auto push. (No matter the damage difference, its too small to have any real effect except for when a lane is frozen).

Problem is just dumb people thinking clearing a wave is enough to get a pushing lane.

I tried that but it doesn't work the enemy minions do 35% more damage.

Is this a thing? I don't think it is.

It is. Each enemy turret down increases your minion's damage in that lane.

If your team's average level his higher than your enemy's your minions do more damage.

If you don't believe me, left click on one of your minions and you will see a percentage that tells you how much more damage they are dealing if any

They added it because they wanted it to help teams close out games if they had a lead.
