Riot said ADCs still OP after changes?

I saw someone post a screenshot of riot commenting on how adcs are still op in the PBE.

What's with that? Nerf marksmen more

Adcs are super nerfed on pbe.

Are they really? I didn't expect to see much change in their power from the changes, just a redistribution of it (still strong lategame, not so strong mid/early)

Thing is, ADC damage is fine.

What isn´t fine, and coincidentally what Riot is nerfing is how early the can get that damage.

Exactly. They used to be strongest damage all the time, throughout the game. Now they're delayed in reaching it which means they will still be as strong later on, but not be massive really early without a HUGE snowball (which is only right really as there has to be some reward for getting ahead imo).

The only concern I really have about the changes is the inadvertent buffs to other champions such as Yas. I'm sure they will be able to sort it pre-release and they have already said they are looking at it closely and looking at ways to mitigate it.

This having been said ADC's being able to build 3 items and get 100% crit IS of some concern. We'll have to see how much that affects their midgame. I've not seen any MASSIVE snowball down bot at this point during the PBE though which is a good sign.

Marksmen won't be nerfed because they are Riot's guaranty that games end at some point.

Incorrect, games have a hard time limit that the sever will force it as a draw if it goes long enough, the vast majority won't try it though lol.

The way I interpreted that statement, he didn't say that Marksmen are still overpowered. What he said was that it's still your best bet to pressure botlane out of all lanes, not because it'll make your botlane stronger (like it does now), but because it'll make the enemy botlane close to useless (because their spike items have been made a lot harder to access).

So you have the same goals overall, but for a different reason.

In other words, nothing's really changed in terms of game flow. Adcs just lost even more agency.

if you ask me champions lie rengar got buffed instead because correct me if im wrong ie makes 20% of ur crit converted to true dmg but then again they dont have increased crit dmg
