lifesteal vs tanks?
just like to hear some thoughts regarding this. I wish i could test things out in a sandbox or something. but what is everyones general take on the new league of tanks.
I for one feel like lifesteal feels underwhelming vs tanks. I'd like to see what would happen if lifesteal worked the same against every champion and drew from the same amount of damage before resistances or pretended that everyone had 50armor / mr(for spellvamp). treated every champion the same way. consistent lifesteal throughout.
Armor is kind of like a morrelonomicon. Imagine, what if building mr vs maokai reduced his passive's healing? .. same for warmogs etc.
those forms of healing remains consistent.
I think the same should apply to lifesteal. It will be a lot less variable a stat to balance that way If people lifesteal too much just lower it without worrying about league of tanks suddenly making you unable to hold your own.
i understand the need to nerf lifesteal back when mages couldn't out damage an enemies lifesteal. the nerfs to lifesteal for the most part did not affect how well it works against enemy champions who are not stacking resistances. But i feel like its sub-par vs tanks.
when i'm in lane fighting creeps i get a "false" sense of how much lfiesteal i have. As this is a poor indicator of how well it performs vs certain champions. Its kind of misleading.
that way no matter which target you switch to you'll at least be able to gauge at what levels of health you'll feel comfortable fighting them.
