how does ornns passive prioritise item upgrades?
lets say someone has
in his inventory.
how does his passive decide which item to upgrade?

I believe it's the first item that the player purchased. So if the player bought sunfire cape first, and then icebourne it will upgrade the sunfire. I also believe they are working on a way to choose which item to upgrade for the player, in case you wanted something else upgraded instead.

it really needs a different way to upgrade then.
the current way kindof makes sense, but its just not obvious enough.
thx for the answer.

I personally prefer the original way, where the upgrades are available in shop.
It's definitely not "first item purchased" - I had an ARAM game the other day where I had IBG and Redemption, and despite purchasing the IBG first my Redemption got upgraded when Ornn used his passive on me.
I had moved the Redemption to 2 for the sake of the active, so it might be the order in which they're placed in the inventory?
