PBE Pre-Season 5 Related [My Ideas]

As a reminder, these are my ideas and are all concepts that combines with the pre-season 5 ideas on PBE.

Right now the jungle clear items are taking a step backwards and would decrease jungle diversity instead of increase it. As far as the enchantment idea goes and only one machete item at a time are great, my concept ideas will expand on the enchantment idea some more.

  1. Not do the new jungle clear portion of the items. Keep Madred's Razors, Spirit Stone, and Quill Coat in the game BUT their upgrade pieces will be removed in place of 1 of 4 enchantments you can purchase [AD, AP, on-hit, tank].

  2. Sustain on the items would need to be increased [some more than others] because of the harder difficulty of jungle monsters.

  3. The three items will have the same gold cost of 700 total [Machete + X gold = 700g] to have enchantment costs be the same.

  4. If Smite upgrades stay; Smite can be upgraded with the purchase of an enchantment of zero gold that one will only have access to an enchantment after they upgrade Machete into Madred's Razors, Spirit Stone, or Quill Coat. Of course it is a choice between 1 out of 4 Smite upgrade enchantments. [So this means you get two enchantments for your jungle item; one for Smite and one for the stats that you want to have.]

This is entirely to keep the jungle viable to as many champions as possible because right now the new item on PBE is just Madred's Razor that is damage over time with a bunch of jungle sustain. On-hit, ability, and tank junglers should be able to jungle and not reverting the jungle to season 1 with Nunu, Fiddle, Warwick terror- mainly Nunu overpowered dominance.

Thank-you for your time, and feel free to leave your own feedback and discussion. Have a nice day! ^.^ ~ Stacona

Reading from point 2, I think you're missing out on a lot of reasons why the Jungle items are getting revamped...

The items should stay as a trio for jungle diversity for basic attackers, ability users, and tanks --- the items still need to give sustain in order to be able to farm the jungle outside of Warwick, Fiddle, and Nunu

The upgrades immediately following Machete are already perfectly balanced, so they should stay in the game - by giving the most diversity possible will allow for the jungle to be accessible by a large variety of champions to jungle which will open up many many unique meta games over time as people play more and more games

No, that's exactly the thing.

Still looking for it, but a large point to why they're revamping the jungle, as a riot employee has stated, is to make the jungle a much more defined place that "you don't just need a good leash at blue buff to succeed in"

That is moving the jungle spawns so you get level 2 off of one of the 4 camps [but honestly jungle start will either be Froggy or the Rocks so the spawn changes didn't do anything because it is a start at either of these two camps rather than red or blue] But the trio jungle items will open up jungle diversity for allowing multiple types to get played- as far as jungling the jungle goes and clear paths goes that is completely decided on the spawn times- outside of jungle items, jungle items just helps more champions get played in the jungle
