i dont understand people that pick a snowball champ when they dont main the lane

such as corki mid, renekton, leblanc (imo she is midlane main or teamcomp reliant) why not just pick lux or something with catch potential and all game relavancy and provide for the team rather then champs that get shitter as the game goes on?

Possibly because they intend to learn the champ.

Same reason why people take AD mids when the team needs AP, or why people take squishy assassins and carries top and jungle and complain about there being no peel or front line.
