tryndamere is more frustrating then yasuo

does trynd get slightly ahead? you might aswell just sit at base. does yasuo get ahead? just wait for him to do something suicidal (he cant press R and run away)

i hate tryndamere every single game compared to yasuo half of the time.

The frustration comes from the fact that the only thing that trynd players are doing is split pushing all game.

That's the only thing Tryda is good for unless the enemy team lacks cc for some dumb reason.

his kit may be toxic, but if you wanna have fun, play akali into him. burst him down to like 5% health, when he pops ult you pop your shroud and you just stay in it. the vast majority of trynda's damage are in his auto attacks obviously and your shroud lasts longer than his ultimate. he can't pink ward it and he can't target you even if sweeper. just stay in it and make him run away. if he is dumb enough to try to wait you out you will out last his ult and you can just burst him. if he tries to spin away last second just dash after him since you are akali.

if he brings ignite to get true sight (likely you can also run cleanse to instantly cleanse his ignite and then shroud and he still can't see you.

I'm not sure if its a true counter, but I had fun playing Akali into trynda.

i mean you killed her level 1 before she even got her shroud. that akali is terrible.

she just had to give up cs early and let you push her into her tower and farm up to 6. once she gets to 6 there isn't anything trynda can do really. especially if she is smart and goes something like tabi or armguard early.

Akali's shroud is just a bs defensive ability, there's so fucking little counterplay especially if you're a dps champion.

Master Yi has also had periods where he was despised by the larger community. I think that the whole Skirmisher archetype is only really viable when they are annoying as fuck.

TimX24968B1 votes

that's what makes them viable, though. Every champion has their nuances, and i would be pretty disappointed if I built full damage and didn't get a pentakill or do stupid damage on one of these guys. in lower elos they appear frustrating since they can snowball very hard, but they are much more of a risk in higher elos.

SpaghettiVase3 votes

I'd say Master Yi is way more annoying than Yas and Trynd. At least they don't disappear mid fight causing any ability targeted or skillshot miss. When he's low on health "oh hey lemme W and become super tank while you just try and kill me before it ends"

You can CC Yi out of his W and actually kill him even mid fight. You just flat out can't kill Trynd

You can just CC Trynd when he ults and have him waste it instead.

This argument goes for a lot of things.....

Knoyle1 votes

The issue i have with this is you can't just slap trynd with CC and it's fine. His ult lasts 5 seconds. This is longer than any CC available in the game. You effectively have stack cc which might just fuck you if there is more than one thing worth using it on. Master Yi on the other hand will die before the cc is even over. That's my gripe.

Thefrostyviking2 votes

Then slap a stun on him and then a slow, congrats he has now failed to gapclose and can't do it anymore.

There is a reason why people play Trynda as a splitter and not a teamfighter x)

And if we are on splitting then we might as well acknowledge that all the main splitting champs all happen to be gods at 1v1's.

and that's no coincidence, being good at 1v1s is part of being a good splitpusher, because then you demand that they send more than one person to actually stop your split pushing.

Thefrostyviking1 votes

Yep, which is why i find it so odd sometimes when even long time players start complaining about those splitters being hard to beat 1v1-

Yes but he lives for 5 seconds regardless. He actually has the potential to make something happen even if he is ashe ulted with brittle on him

Thefrostyviking2 votes

And that potential is never realized as far as the games go, people play him as a splitter for good reasons.

Complaining about Tryndamere is just the same as acknowledging that splitpushers are fundamentally extremely hard to beat 1v1, which we all already knew.

He´s exactly the same as Fiora, Yi, Jax, kayle and who else :(

I don't find him doing the things he does weird at all.

General Esdeath 1 votes

And then he E's over a wall while flashing his mastery emote.

Thefrostyviking2 votes

And then he is as irrelevant as he could be x)

In my opinion though, it's just a tad bit sad that you need a splitpush champ to stop another due to how strong their 1v1 is but i can't say i know any good answers to it.

Splitpushing is both bad and good.

General Esdeath 1 votes

But now you've sent 2+ people top and you got what out of it? Nothing. But now his team has 2 mid and 2 bot splitting or 4 mid while your team is running away because they don't want to 3v5

Thefrostyviking1 votes

That's why i mentioned needing a splitpusher to beat a splitpusher, none of them can really be beaten 1v1 playing anything else.

Altho you could just send a CC/waveclear mage, he won't go near that. For no matter of strong Trynda is he can't really push anything himself very quickly without minions while being shot by both a mage and a tower.

But, again, as any other splitpusher Trynda just cant be beaten 1v1 by anything else, and i do understand why people find this frustrating.

I myself have forced teams to surrender while playing Kayle and Jax, in one game in particular they were winning all the fights but the moment i got a single minute i broke through towers everywhere. At some point where they finally got 1 inhib from my team i had taken 2 of theirs and 1/2 of their last's ones tower.

I was going like 5,4,3 something, but i forced the enemy team to surrender just because there werent able to do anything to stop by splitting since they didnt have anyone capable of beating me 1v1, heck they even lost 2v1 when their support and marksman tried to beat me.

Playing Kayle......i´ve lost count of the times i´ve forced surrenders, i´ve even won 1v3 fights on a few rare occasions. It was really, really boring to play but damn if it was powerful.

General Esdeath 1 votes

He even beats most split pushers like Zed Heimerdinger Fiora Jax Talon Yasuo XinZhao because of the simple fact he can't die for 5 seconds.

Thefrostyviking1 votes

Zed, heim, talon and Xin are not splitters.

Zed and talon are assassins, they are somewhat good at splitting but they are not dedicated to it.

And Jax can beat Trynd 1v1, i tried, and i´ve seen Yasuo do it as well but it´s a lot harder in that case.

Uncertain about Fiora.

Xin zhao is a diver, or a "anti carry" as it was called back in time. He is specialized at spanking marksmen and mages and any assassin but he doesn't handle true 1v1 dedicatec champs like Yi, Trynd or Jax.

MLDzXnRRR1 votes

Yi doesn't have any dmg without items and even with items he just gets permaCCed vs a normal team comp. If you manage to get fed with Yi, it's not a bad champ. If you don't. it's 4v5. Trynd can splitpush and take towers even if he is 0/20, because of ult; Yasuo has wall and AOE stun. Yi has what?

Correction: none of those champs have any damage without items, get permaCC'd in teamfights, and take turrets while 0/20, and Yi is the fastest turret killer among the 3, and all 3 are capable of WTF comebacks if left to farm. They're very similar really.

I Main Swain1 votes

your argument literally applies exactly the same with any melee adc's. fiora, tryndamere, yi, yasuo, all of them are useless for anything but split pushing if theyre behind, all of them are obnoxious af to deal with if they get ahead. (ps yi can take towers better than any other melee carries so idk why youre talking like only tryndamere can do it)

This, except ALSO you can't click on him instantly the moment he reappears due to reaction time, so thats like .2 seconds of me waiting for him to appear while he's whacking me, every time he Q's.

And considering how fast he hits, .2 seconds is a lot.

tryndamare is a melee dmg dealer, melee dmg dealers that aren't fiora/riven are garbage. /thread.

Corvid3 votes

At least trynd doesn't have so many dashes it makes him hard to hit and an ability that negates all ranged damage AND cc

DragonShea3 votes

Trynda is a bitch champion, and one of the most braindead ones in the game, his motherfucking spin slash is a dick and a pussy move ability, and that is something.

Elkington VI3 votes

Not really, Tryn is far easier to lock down in teamfights than Yasuo due to having a much more predictable play pattern. Nearly all of Tryn's kit only helps himself, so when he gets behind he suffers far greater than a Yasuo.

umm WTf am I reading..

Tryn is completely balanced but in a way of, he just needs to be rebuilt because he sucks.

I don't know where people say he's more frustrating then Yasou. he's completely shut down able and easy.

Root him Stun him gg. the issue with Tryn is that bronze people think that they can let him just roam free then when it comes to team fight.. focus the tank over Tryn.

Every game I see a enemy tryn its like let me just cc you and kill you. the only times I've ever lost a game vs a tryn is if my team refuses to take advantage of the fact the Enemy tryn is always top lane.. and we should bet getting objectives in 5v4 situations not sending 3 people top to go chase a tryndamere every time..

FCJAAAAGOOOO2 votes

Trondomore is perfectly fine, especially when compared to Yasuo. Run the numbers on his max steroids and compare them to the fact that Yasuo has his winwall and actual hard ranged AoE CC in his kit (although granted tryn's Poultry Shout is useful in this meta whether it slows or not). Want to give tryn a rough time, though? Pick anyone top that can effectively build armor and then build armor. If you're a mid/jung/supp then pick a mage so you can help whittle him down before he can go in and provide some extra CC as well.

He pushes well and is actually pretty good in teamfights if the player is decent with him but he won't win 1v1's until lategame or if he's fed - even then unless he builds glass cannon it's not a sure thing. And building glass cannon tryn w/o snowballing is risky to say the least - even if you're fed all it takes is for you to get caught and shut down once or twice and you're basically made irrelevant without defensive stats against any team with a brain among them.

He beats Janna and the other Enchanters to boot; they're the real braindead champions right now. I love how good of a counter he is to Soraka in particular.

Trynda is weaker in lane than Yasuo (as long you aren't stupid to die at lvl 1, if he decides to spin on you). Later, he is a splitpush bot or useless. He needs a rework, but I doubt that they will make him more fair with this ult. The rest of his kit is garbage.

His RNG crits make his laning far better than Yasuos (depending on luck) and his playstyle is very toxic

Yasuo doesn't need any crits to 100 to 0. You can even cheese any champion that counters you later pre lvl 3 with Yasuo.

Ofc in the toplane. It's his most sucessful lane. Tanks can't fight back and bruisers have way too long cooldowns early on to fight back efficiently.
