How do I get a rank on my champion?

How do I go rank 500,rank 1 etc (not saying I’ll go rank 1 but I’m just asking) with my champion?How many mastery points or how many games do I have to play with my champion to start having a rank with them?

For example,if my champion is neeko: I am almost 200k neeko but I don’t know if I have a rank in the server.Some people are rank 1 neeko,rank 30 neeko etc....How do I get a rank with my champion to start climbing there ? Just be good at the champ. There is no official rank that league gives you. I guess some people say they are rank 1 if they are the highest-ranked person that mains that champ. Or This site might be helpful

If you are talking about mastery, then simply play a champion to get from mastery 1 to 5. After that you need to get S tokens for the champion to level up. With a max being level 7.

As for rank 500, for example, as being the top 500 player on a champion, that is a mix of winrate, rank and general performance on the champion.

Most likely Diamond + with a 70%+ winrate with over 100 games played.

Thats because ranked just reset. Meaning that neeko most likely just has gotten a high winrate on the champion, which is enough for the site to consider them the 3rd best.

Looking at the top neeko players on EUNE, the only ones below platinum have already a stupidly high amount of games played on the champion with a high winrate. The gold player (5th not 3rd) has a 90% winrate over 10 games, which boosts them up massively.
