How do I cs properly?
So it is really hard to last hit when not playing supp or jg even though I practice,so any further tips would be appreciated.

Away from the turret really the only thing you can do is practice last hitting, there isn't any real secret formula for last-hitting when 2 waves are clashing with each other.
For an exercise to get better at last-hitting, I'd recommend you to go into practice tool, and sit in one lane, last hitting every minion you can for 10 minutes. Aim for 80 CS in 10 minutes, and once you get that, if you want extra credit, try to time it so you can clear Raptors or Wolves between waves without missing any CS, and see if you can hit 100 CS in 10 minutes.
Some other things to consider are watching which minions are being focused by your own minions, and being ready to snag the last hit at the last possible moment.
For under turret though, there's a formula that works for most champions:
You let melee minions take 2 tower shots from full hp, then last hit. You auto each ranged minion once, then let it take a tower shot, then last hit. Once you know your champion's damage, and you practice it a bit, you can "fix" the minions as they come into tower to set them up for last hitting.
Here's a video example I made of a good way to practice farming under turret with the Practice Tool, I missed one on the first wave because I'm bad. :P
I would recommend no added ad or items while doing this. The harder you make it in practice, the better you will do under pressure in a real game.
Agreed with the exception of your usual starting items, since you'll have those every game.
It is the same concept as resistance training. You make practice harder so that it is easier in game. You have a hundred extra things going on in a real game which can distract you from cs. Practicing without that extra 10 ad will make a world of difference in improving. Back in the day, Soraka with no runes/items/abilities was the go to for cs practice because it was harder than most other "normal" circumstances.
Ah see I'm a one trick so it's actually detrimental for me to practice on anything but Kat. I feel like the best way to practice CSing is not to make it as difficult as possible, but to do it over and over and over in as realistic a scenario as possible on a champion that you plan to play, since each one has different animations, damage, and abilities.
There's a lot of tricks for laning, farming, trading, and last hitting so I'll try to cover what I can as succinctly as I can.
Best tip I can give is play manaless champions.
is extremely good for learning fundimentals since he can prep waves under tower with E and win trades with Grasp Q.
Other champions are "near" manaless and assist in last hitting like
or
, who get mana back if they last hit with their abilities.
AD champs in general are easier to cs with since they have a wider range to last hit with. If tanky champions are more your thing, go with ones that have high base AD like
or
. It isn't just about hitting minions right before they die otherwise; if you glance at your AD, glance their health when left clicking the minion, and see where their health bar is when they are in range for your auto to kill, you'll see that often you can hit the minion with a decent chunk of their bar left.
Melee minions are harder to last hit but give about twice the value of casters so it is better to emphasize learning and managing them first over focusing the entire wave.
To last hit under tower takes different techniques for the different minion types. Against Melee minions, a tower will remove 45% of their health with each shot, leaving them in range to be last hit instantly with 10% left. Casters are a little harder here. You have to prime the casters with an extra auto before the tower shoots them, then auto again afterward to last hit. High AS champions like
can circumvent this by simply hitting with two autos after a single tower shot. Cannons follow normal last hitting rules; just watch their health while priming the casters and try to hit right before the last tower shot lands.
"cs"ing is a very broad term and so far I've only talked about last hitting, which is only one aspect of farming.
If the minion wave crashes on your side of the lane, watch your opponent. If they are actively priming your minions to push into your tower, you have to attack their wave back to try and keep it where it is. If your lane opponent is missing or too far away to last hit, focus the melee minions, then when you have the minion advantage you can rush forward and freely trade against the enemy making them give up the valuable melee minions of your own wave. If you force them to miss melees and only let them take casters, you will end up quite far ahead in gold with equal CS, and even with as low as 60% their cs numbers.
When the enemy is away and don't look like they are going to be back soon, take out the melees with last hits, then wait for the next wave to crash together. Focus the casters immediately leaving 3 melees behind and do what you can to last hit -- you'll end up with around 5-6 casters and 3-4 melees on your side ready to siege their tower and cause the enemy to miss a huge amount of farm to their tower while they're gone.
If you just want to set up a slow push and roam to another lane, you don't need to clear entire waves worth. Get your minoins and the enemy minions equal, then simply clear the casters and roam to another lane. What ends up happening is your side slowly builds up a huge wave to hard push on its own and force someone to split off and deal with it. Depending on how fast you can roam and roam back, you can in turn hard punish the person trying to pick up that 15+ wave as they'll be taking 200-500 minion damage when you pick a fight with them.
Last is freezing. If you have a champion with strong trading power and want to emphasize farm, let the enemy push their wave and just focus on last hitting. Once the wave is far on your side, right before your tower, rush the opponent to get them to back off, then hit minions so there is 3 casters + 1 melee or 4 casters on the enemy wave while your wave is gone. Keep the wave there until your next minion set comes to meet them, then stop. Only last hit melees (higher gold value) and keep the enemy wave constantly 4 minions above yours. The minion wave will stay where it is for an extremely long time (several minutes) and keep your opponent from getting farm of their own since you as a strong trading champion can threaten a kill easily.
When I was looking at your match history for context I was really concerned when I saw your Oriana game where you only had 13 cs at 20 minutes, but then I realized you were the support haha...
But yeah, like the guy above said, all it takes is practice. You have to learn when to go for cs, when to give a couple up, how to zone the enemy off of cs, and really just practice actually hitting at the right time.
Oriana is a pretty tough champion to last hit as, I've heard, so you might want to try playing someone like Annie to practice getting minions well. Annie's q makes getting last hits really easy, and her w helps clear waves.
go to practice mode (le derp it's down right now, what a useless piece of advice) and go to a lane with whatever champion you so choose, and don't buy any item. your aim? to only last hit the minions. no spells are permitted, no item dmg, no wind up autos you're only permitted 1 auto per minion. go practice that and you'll be gucci. if this were the old days you would have to practice it without a mastery or rune page, make em both blank. iunno if the current pages can be made blank lol, but if you want hard mode then don't pick up the dmg or atk speed runes on the flavor selector at the bottom right.
now you're training like goku
Practice is really what it comes down to. You got to keep in mind how fast or how slow your auto attacks are, how much damage they do, and just timing it properly.
Something I've done in practice tool (and admittingly in some games, especially as Nasus), is click on the minions I intended to last hit so their health bars appear, and keep my stats tab open. Since normal minions have no armor, reading the health bar tells you if one auto attack will kill it. This helped me get the rough idea on how much damage I actually do and when I have the damage to kill them.
play
if you still can't last hit you just suck at it.
General Information:
CS'ing under tower:
Note: Values are estimation and vary based on time in game (Minion stats increase with time)
Melee Minion
approx. 75+ AD = Two tower shots, then attack it. approx. 74 AD or less = Auto attack before tower hits it, Two tower shots, then attack it again.
Ranged Caster Minion
CS'ing with abilities
This one requires a lot of champion specific knowledge. Every champion in the game has a different farming pattern with their abilities, so I can't give you much here. The best thing to do is watch how a high tier player or your favorite streamer uses your champion to clear minion waves.
Since you'll get comments talking about skill factors and last hitting (the you side of things) from everyone else, I'll offer some things you can do from the game side of things. Your choice whether or not you try them.
You could take inspiration as your secondary runeset, and grab minion dematerializers. Depending on how you use them you could either make one minion type far easier to last hit or make all 3 of them somewhat easier. Mute point once you deal enough damage to kill them in one shot anyway, and you don't get whatever you would have chosen instead.
You could pick champions with higher base damage or some mechanism that ups it, for example Miss Fortune and love tap, or Kallista with your pairing (make sure your support knows to hit the minions to put the debuff on them).
As a new player, what I've done is just practice both in custom games and practice tool, also I played a lot of games and I got better at cs by doing it under pressure, now I feel comfortable doing it.
Well... you can cs properly by letting the minions do the dmg for you, if the enemy minion is rlly low, then yu can hit it and get cs. I usually follow this method all the time, because sometimes it's really annoying when your minions take your cs. I agree with Will of Noxus
Well for champions like Cassiopeia, they can be easier to cs with, you E them for last hit and Q first if you want your E to do more damage. You just have to auto or use something like Cassiopeia E when they're low health. Under turret though with Cassio it gets tricky so for the basic minions (who have a spell no armor or axes), I have to wait for the turret to hit them once, then auto and E. Not sure how farming works under turret for other champs though.
You can do those practice that people say where you last hit with no items, but when in an actual game, the more ad you have, the easier it will be for you to last hit with your basic attack or ability that scales with ad. If you really need to, you can left click on the minion to see their hp total in numbers, and generally if you have 100 ad and they have 100 hp, once they are at 100 or less is a good time to attack them so you get the last hit. Always try to last hit when their hp total is below your attack damage value but not equal to zero. Zed is also a really easy champion to last hit with because his passive gives him extra damage on his basic attack to low health targets.
