Last night I queued up with three friends and we went into a normal draft. I went for Top and Jungle, one friend went Jungle and Top, second friend was ADC Fill, last was Supp Fill.
I got Jungle. First friend got Top. Second friend got Supp. Third friend got Mid. Random got ADC, and said he queued for Mid and Fill.
How does THAT happen?
EbonyBladeJ882 votesI've been trying to go Supp and JG recently, and have been getting Top almost consistently.
It's not really a problem, because Top is one of my main roles, but sometimes you want to switch it up, yet I can't seem to get anything BUT Top.
Then there are the times when I go Top (Primary) and JG (Secondary) and get stuck in Mid.
We all could probably fill pages with times that Auto-fill has sent us to a role that is the Furthest-thing-possible from what we queued up for. Those are just some of MY instances of it screwing me around.

Because Autofill LOVES to screw around with players.
Autofill says: Oh, you queued up for JG (Primary) and Mid (Secondary) and are a terrible Top-laner? Well, let's make you be Top and give you "teammates" that are completely UNWILLING to trade roles with you. (If you're curious, this happened to a friend of mine, not me)
Autofill says: Oh, you queued up Mid (Primary) and Bot/ADC (Secondary)? Too bad, so sad, you're the JG! (Another friend who fell victim to Autofill in a less-than positive manner)
I like Draft Mode, I really do. It made the Champ Select process far less of a nightmare that Blind Pick can sometimes be. But when Autofill came along, I've been... less than satisfied with it.

Dolasaur1 votesIt's not because of autofill. This has happened since they first introduced role queuing- where the top/jun gets jungle and jun/top gets top.
It is broken, and Riot should do a second pass on role selection after the team is decided. But it's not autofill's fault.
Dethflash1 votesYup ive seen that crap happen several times now, and its all because of the autofillsystem they have, it will override what roles you have selected and just give everyone something random.
