Three reports for going 26/0/1 in bots?

So I wanted to cheese the missions, and took Jax into beginner bots. Took him down in supp, started my relic shield and everything, played like a proper supp (which isn't hard, since I main supp anyway). ADC dies, I get a double kill. ADC dies again, I get another double kill. Then I take drag and roam mid to help my midlaner cuz she's struggling 2v1, and get a double cuz she goes to base when I show up.

Next thing I know, my top laner, ADC, and jg are all screaming about how they're going to be reporting me because I "need to learn how to supp" and I "keep stealing kills."

Well, just a bit of info for some of you: if you a) are dead, or b) make no effort to go for a kill, and your support gets the kill instead, that is in no way stealing kills. If a 2v2 turns to a 2v1 cuz you die, and then your ally finishes off the two who remain, that's not stealing kills. If your ally comes to help you 2v2 and you decide "this is a good time to leave" and go to base, leaving them 2v1, it's not stealing kills.

And on top of that, people need to get out of this mindset that being support = having 0 kills. People do not, in any way, have to play specifically the style you want them to play, especially if they try that style in the first place and all you do is waste it.

And last but not least, people need to chill the fuck out in bot games lmao. In a mode where many of the key responsibilities of the support role are either meaningless or redundant, let people have fun.

You can’t be reported for killing champions. Even if you purposely ks every single kill, you can’t be reported.

Apparently the complaint was that I was griefing and baiting my team or some bullshit like that. I know the reports would amount to literally nothing, though.

Yeah, worst that comes from the reports is that the automated system MIGHT look to see if you were feeding.

Nope, it does not. The system is so automatically made that the only thing it does, is gather all data ( reports ) about your account and by an algorithm ( to me, unknown ) the IRF system bans you

The system looks if people report you, and if enough people report you, you get punished, regardless of what happened. I've had friends get banned for inting by going like 3/8, just because 4 other players on the team reported them. They didn't feel like bothering with the bullshit system so they made a new account. I've also had people make legitimate death threats towards me but I was the one that got a chat suspension because they were a 4 man. Even though they all spammed racial slurs in the first 2 minutes. The system is broken.

People should stop thinking about riot's banning system as something that has logic or not. The report you got in a bot match is the same as if u got it in a normal match cause as i said to the guy above, their IRF system ( banning system that gathers reports and stuff about you ) is absolutely 100% automatic

What would the automated system ban them for though? Even if you get reported 90 times in 10 games, the reports have have a valid reason. There is no report selection for "stealing kills" because there is no reason to have it. They could report you for trolling, but score proves otherwise. They could report you for harassment, but chat is recorded.

Nope, 90 reports in 10 games and all of them, for example, to be inting even tho your score is positive? oh boy oh boy, guess who's getting perma banned Of course, you can go through trouble with dealing with riot support with retaking your account back and explaining them that their game is being played by morons that don't know what the fuck in the world are they doing, but for that you'll approximately wait around half of a month, maybe a bit more

If it were as simple as getting reported, I would be banned. I recently had a 2/18/1 game on Tryndamere that I didn't care about at all. I wasn't necessarily inting, but the Ekko on my team tilted me so hard that I stopped caring at all. I'm fairly certain that I was 4 man reported and I have never been punished.

For some context, I asked my team why they keep on coming top when middle tower is free to take and said to just let me farm. At this point, I think I was 1/3 and had been ganked by middle and jungle (3 man toop) in 2 of those deaths but their middle tower was still full HP. I then began to go for a proxy. My jungler and Ekko came top again to try to take the tower while I was proxying and then died under the enemy tower while I spam pinged them to go away. Ekko said something along the lines of "help us you wood 5 piece of trash." I responded with "just let me farm, and muted btw." Immediately after I muted Ekko, he began spam pinging which pushed me over the edge.

For the rest of the game I blindly pushed down top ignoring everything. If the enemy came to kill me, so be it. Also, this game is a great example of why people who flame their teammates lose more games. When you flame people, they stop caring.

It is that simple, actually. I've been talking to one tech guy from their staff, and he told me about it. You don't necessarily get banned from one single game, nor two, not even three. All reports you get are in the system and even if someone reported you three years ago, it still exists in the IRF.

When you see someone like the singed support guy or nunu supp smite get banned, its because its a false positive. The system thinks theyre inting.

It doesnt matter how much reports you get as long as the system doesnt think you're actually inting or afking.

Have been talking to one of the tech guys, and as i said, IRF works on gathering data from reports.

IIRC, their accounts were ‘manually audited’. They were not banned by the system. Edit: Just looked at some old posts, the Nunu guy was not banned by the system, so there wasn’t a false positive.

Riots' banning system, one that is involved for account reports, IRF system if im not wrong with the shorties, is in fact, fully automatized untill you don't send them a support ticket AFTER you get banned and they look into the issue ( which in most cases, end up with you being wrong and your account remain banned )

I hate people, since you can’t chill in Ranked (obviously) you play in normals, but then you can’t chill in normals so you play bots, but now you can’t even play bots because people take the game wayyyy to seriously. Why can’t we all just enjoy the game ;-;

Firstly, cause the game is loaded with just-made-to-teenage-years kids. They take the game way too seriously, and they are the one on normal games, mostly. Then you have ranked low elo people that are just bad at the game and they blame everyone cause they suck, which places them in low elo ( bronze silver gold ) and then at the last place, you've got high elo players that are just frustrated with the way the game is going. Current meta, items, changes, all that makes them very frustrated ( myself included ) and they just don't enjoy the game anymore, but they hope that the Riots' Staff is going to fix the game, one day.

If not playing effectively was something worthy of a report, like 99% of players would be banned.

For bonus silliness, I'm inclined to argue that even having a support in bots is ineffective, since you can push faster/kill appropriate objectives with two carries, and gold is abundant against bots who are a steady drip of free gold.

I had a Vi the other day complain about me "KSing" her. She was mid, i was bot. I was ashe. She engaged on mid, and i shot an arrow and pinged where it would be. She ulted the annie right where i pinged, and i just so happened to get the kill. Complained about the KS.

  1. I was just trying to assist. I couldnt predict the killing shot 5 seconds in the future.

  2. I was the adc, even if it were a real game, that would have been the best outcome.

Bot left top to go mid. Mid laner was a new player I guess, and was having trouble with the 2v1.

Happens often. And often they are drunk and/or high. Some are just arrogant, and some are ... let's say "new" and not familiar to the game ... or social life ^^

Dont worry about it. You can get reports, but afaik, you wont have any action taken on them because they're crap reports.

I feel like "kill steal" is something you only hear in lower elo, I mean yeah IDEALLY the carry should get it right, true, he needs the gold, but damn we are all spamming everything in this fight, my shit just went in last, you still got paid

It's only said in lower ELO because it's only intentionally done in lower Elo.

It's one thing to accidentally do it, or to actually secure it (both things done at all tiers). However, it's only in low tier you see it done intentionally, and generally to troll.

This. Kill Stealing is the act of WASTING an important cooldown just to get a kill that is already all but insured to go to your team anyway. This would be like overriding someone's ignite on the very first tick with their own, using your ult to kill a 50 hp target that already had an ADC's auto on the way to that target, flashing to get a kill that your team already had in the bag, ect.

Even doing so to just get an assist isn't remotely worth it unless there is no one else who would get an assist at all (because then the assist gold would be wasted, but assist gold is shared among all people who'd have gotten it and as such the gold difference between 1 assist and 4 is non-existent), and wouldn't really be worth it even then.

Any time there is any possible contest to the kill either escaping or counter-killing, its pretty much no holds barred and no one would blame anyone else in higher elos.

Literally, if you contribute to your team winning, killing stuff as support isn't reportable, lmao. I mean fuck, people play 'non-support support champs' - Lux, Annie, Teemo, etc.

If you are expecting any of these to not get kills, then I don't know anymore, lol.

You can do WHATEVER you want in bots. I went as Orianna with my boyfriend as Morgana botlane vs bots yesterday, and the other three went CRAZY because we didn't have an adc. Against bots.
