ARAM with mostly melee is SO fun

Just straight-up all-out brawls instead of who wins the poke-and-push war. Honestly this last game of ARAM I played is probably the most fun game I've had in months playing LoL.

but riot said ranged adcs sitting in the back and poking eachother and sustaining is more fun than actually having to be in melee range to do damage!

hence the adcs getting left broken as fuck while melee fighters are in the dumpster!

That hasn't been true in a long time.

summoner 32 turns any melee into an initiator. item 2051 gives melees an insane amount of regen and durability in the early stages. item 3083 is one of the best item in ARAM, and it's a troll item on most ranged champs.

Which is funny because of how badly I was insulted by the entire team after I told soraka to build warmogs after she had wasted money on redemption.

TL;DR she ended up buying ardent censor and chalice dispite running out of hp within 30 seconds of being with the team everytime. I even said plz soraka we will win if you do just to be said "quit bullying soraka her build is fine" by her little goon squad of baddies that wouldn't friend request me afterward because they know theyre wrong as fuck

wat, warmogs just makes some ranged champs even better. I don't think its even possible to lose with 45% cd veigar with warmogs

I think some melee champs can be cancer, and some ranged are fine, but for the most part I agree. Unfortunately it also kinda goes against the AR part of things but it'd be nice as a RGM possibly.

Although we haven't done it recently, me and my buddies used to do aram with melee champs only. We would also throw in ultimate bravery in the mix. It was tons of fun.

I had a game yesterday without ANY adcs. Was the most fun I'm had in a ARAM in a while and the game went on for 30 minutes or mroe because no one could kill the tanks (me Poppy on one side VS an all ap team) and Braum and Ornn their side. It was stupid yet fun.

Everytime I decide to go play some ARAM, I face Sona/Soraka/Nidalee/Xerath/Jayce/Ziggs/Lux/etc and I'm on Udyr or something so I say never again. To hell with that mode and all the people who roll ARAM only accounts.

Yeah those champs help make the mode cancer, but I find the experiences I have without 'em definitely make up for it. Teamfight after teamfight is how I love to play and in the off chance I get an all-melee matchup it's so much better.

Funnily enough, my most miserable game (recently) actually had none of those people on the enemy team, despite them being the most complained about. Ziggs, Karma, Karthus, Renekton, and Tryndamere was my team. The enemy (and cause of the misery) had Blitzcrank, Thresh, Vel'koz, Jinx, and Aurelion Sol.

"But Rev," you might say. "What made it so miserable?" I'll tell you. That team could, simultaneously, poke us down, pick off my teammates, and counter any engage. If we waited at turret, we were poked down or grabbed by the hooks. If we jumped on them, Jinx and Vel'koz ran away, still kiting/poking us down, while Blitz and Thresh kept us from moving anywhere.

A better team might have found a way around this. We were not that team.

Looks like you didn't have enough tank items in your team. Everyone except Ziggs there can make a fine tank on ARAM. Many games that might be winnable are thrown away by poor item choices on ARAM.

Yeah, I've seen that. Since my most heavily played champions are tanks/fighter types, I often get someone bruiser-y. All I want is to grab item 3071 and then go full tank. Sometimes, this means I've the most overbearing person on my team, getting all the kill pressure, and making the enemy focus me (and forget about those behind me doing real damage). Sometimes, this means I die half a dozen times before I can even finish the Cleaver and get attacked by teammates for not immediately going tank.

Alistar is my favorite ARAM champ. The plays you can make with reduced flash CD and mark are insane. Fiddlesticks second. Mark-R-Dash is just incredibly powerful. Skarner third. Mark-Dash-R is fun. He's only this far down because it's not quite as fun as Poro King Skarner.

Was saying the same thing yesterday. The all-melee slugfests are just so fun and chaotic. ARAM is soooo boring when its just poking for 15 minutes. All melee ARAM needs to be a thing.

If Riot was to release a game mode that was essentially just aram but melee only I would play it to death.. It's simple, But sounds like a load of fun.
