Irelia rework makes me even more mad

Cause it looks kinda cool and decent and seems like old irelia with dmg reduction and a wall..

While Galio is nothing like old Galio. Makes his rework.even more annoying to me.

gameplay + fluidity of kit > character identity

he still keeps some of his identity, but yeah i agree most of it is lost, but for good reason

Old Galio was a conflicted mess, and his inclusion in Demacia didn't make sense with his general gloomy feel he had. New Galio streamlined him and fit him better into his home state. He's still got a kit that has a lot of similarities to his old kit, it just functions better now.

What about Lucian, shyvana and vayne?

And it has no similarities other than having a taunt and a skillshot.

Lucian embodies Demacia quite well. He's a fighter against the powers of darkness, using guns of light as he hunts the undead and searches for Thresh. He's newer, and he fits the visual and idealistic appeal Demacia. He wears whites and is accented in golds, and he has that narrow mindset of killing "darkness" and "evil" that the justice seeking Demacians love.

Vayne is dark, but while she hails from Demacia, it's clear from her new lore that she doesn't reside there, as she's frequently questing around the world killing the forces of demons and darkness. Shyvana is odd, and doesn't fit the feel of Demacia at all. However, neither Shyvan nor Vayne are newer champions, as they were created in line 2011, which was before Demacia's lore had become fleshed out and streamlined, and long before they began to visually show Demacia as represented by golds, whites, and blues. Neither of them particularly represent Demacia, and their age is starting to show, so they could easily get VGU'd to fit Demacian standards a little better, or could even be shifted into other regions, or in Shyvana's case, shifted out of Demacia altogether.

Galio is different than Shyvana and Vayne in that they're only tied to Demacia through their written lore, and not mentioned by others as being specifically Demacian. Galio, on the other hand, has the Commando skin, which was specifically given to the Demacian characters (Lux, Garen, J4, and Xin), so his ties to the higher commands of Demacia was connected a bit more tightly than just through lore. So when Demacia started shifting towards being the gleaming white and gold city that thirsted for justice, while also taking it to an extreme, a gloomy, solemn gargoyle stood out badly. That's why he was changed.

Important to note, that while all 3 of them either came from or currently live in Demacia, they aren't really Demacian. As you said, Vayne clearly doesn't live there. Lucian is off hunting ghouls across Runeterra (most recently, he was in Bligewater), and Shyvana is a literal half dragon who came from another land entirely, and only is in Demacia because of J4. She very likely doesn't really care about what people think about her (although I will agree that her base look could use some modernization. I've seen it said that some people suspect Iron Scale is actually her cannon modern look, like how Captain MG is her modern appearance.

I always get downvoted cause I enjoyed a great champ and the wanna play more hyper mobile flashy non sense. I wish I could have fun with stupid stuff like that so I can hope on that fortnight or w.e it's called train. Too much action and people flying around and no fun (to me). People who think new Galio is fun that's fine. I don't find him fun at all and I LOVED league of legends before he was reworked. Now i hate league but its the only thing I invest time Into.

Being reworked and being completely removed are two different things, but yeah, I agree with you. One day, some of these people will have something terrible happen to their main. It's inevitable at this rate. Then, maybe they'll be able to feel a sliver of the pain Sion, Poppy, Yorick, and Galio players felt when their mains were taken from them.
